Any concerns from Kubrat Pulev and his handlers over whether or not Wladimir Klitschko was willing to face him were emphatically answered during Tuesday’s purse bid hearing in New Jersey.
Klitschko’s K2 Promotions secured the rights to promote the heavyweight championship bout, submitting a winning bid of just over $7.25 million. The amount was more than 25% greater than the next highest bid, which came from Sauerland Event, Pulev’s promoter who offered over $5.29 million.

The Ring Magazine doesn't mandate fights.
But whatever. It's almost a certainty that HBO won't be picking up this fight. No one knows who Pulev is.
Lol.yet it turns out HBO are picking up his next fight as well as this huh.never mind, everyone knows who Pulev is now,the guy who shook Klitschko and turned up to fight but went home empty handed.
'Almost a certainty' hahaha
yes boxing goat is one of tunneys alts. he just red k'd me.
hahahah
Hey dummy, you're dead wrong and I didn't red K you either even though I did consider it just now for slandering me.
Pulev fight is not on the same level of the Povetkin and haye fights.. Those were the biggest most meaningful heavy fights of this era..
Pulev has earned a shot, I give him very little chance though
I agree.
Kubrat would beat Haye and would be a very difficult opponent for Povetkin.
Pulev has been avoided by several boxers for an IBF final eliminator: Fury, Jennings, Adamek (who later was willing but the IBF turned him down) and Chagaev.
Yeh solid post man.
Povetkin will be the signature win on Wladimir's career by the time he retires,a conditioned Sachsa is by far and easily the best heavyweight not names Klitschko in the last five years and will be for the next five years.I expect he would out point Pulev, maybe not without scare.
Like I said depends which Sascha turns up though y'know.he looked incredible last out,Charr ain't no human hamburger like Kevin Johnson or Joey Abell,he comes to win,Pov made short shrift of him.I wasn't actually surprised, not after i realised how dedicated he was in training and conditioning.no wonder Haye was desperate to unify before his birthday,as had he have avoided Chagaev Sachsa would have welcomed a fight with him with open arms,he would have give him a nice cuddle and sodomized him and his fans hopes of seeing the Wladimir unification fight.
Maybe he would have actually have saved his fans the butthurt and embarrassment after his little toe was sore and hampered his performance to the point he had to dance like a ballerina for 34 full minutes, and try to fellacio on his opponent.
Its called ring magazine #1 challenger. Leapai was not. Look it up.
Education is a wonderful thing.

No. Pulev is a mandatory challenger. He's the same status as Alex Lepai who was also a mandatory challenger. And the same level of popularity i.e none.

They were all #1 challengers to Klitschko no matter there they are known and offered about the same resistance to taking an 'L'.
That equals = same status in my book.
I guess we can debate after HBO or SHO picks up the fight when it's made official.

No they weren't. Those were unification fights technically and big fights in Europe.
This is a mandatory against someone unknown stiff European who's only known in Bulgaria.

Pulev is most certainly the same level if not above these two guys you mention.Pulev won't be bullied can fight for 12 rounds and always comes conditioned to fight for twelve rounds, unlike Haye who only fight against Vakuev and Wladimir in round 12 lol.
Yeh I think the champ was only doing what any real champ would do,in calling out the WBC titlist.too many guys like Quillin,Haye and Huck are too content to sit on their paper titles chasing the crappy fights rather than wanting to be recognised as the ACTUAL champion.
Wladimir is clearly too good for anyone in the divison.only the idiots who thought Hsye could beat Wladimr belive Wilder can.I suspect they're still butthurt and desperate to see the champion lose,so desperate they're blinded in rational judgement.so pathetic.
:lol1: :lol1: :lol1:
They covered Klitschko-Povetkin and Klitschko-Haye fights which were virtually the exact same status of fight.

Glad to hear this is coming into fruition. Pulev earned his shot and this should be a good fight.

All the nonsense and politics aside, Pulev is the legitimate #1 contender for the world title and he deserves his chance. Whether or not he can be competitive is another matter, Wladimir being so far superior to the rest of the division.

Lol @ trying to be clever with the same type of response.
You are on ignore by me so normally I wouldn't have looked at your dumb post or respond but the action has been lacking today so I decided to.
Here goes:

Not next........
.....the end.

You responded to my post because you saw it through your other alts.
Now to answer your question. HBO saw Haye and Povetkin as the main attraction. Now explain why these big American networks don't screen Grabimir when he's the main headline???
1) I don't have any alts.
2) I said, the end.

Why wouldn't a fight between the HW champ and his #1 challenger be any more than a ESPN fight?
