I thought Ruslan was pretty much neutralized in the later rounds of the fight, like he didn't have have any new ideas. Them commentators aren't given Algeri enough credit, in terms of overcoming situations and dealing with power that was pretty much text book. Massive win for Chris. the commentating on the HBO show soiunds terrible from what i keep reading. here on the sky broadcast, algieri was getting his porps! plus we had the always quality paulie on show

LMFAO..Ruslan got his ears boxed off, looked lost and 1 dimensional the commentating was horrible and they looked crazy when Ward said Algeri was winning the fight Im having a hard time trying to understand whoever believe it was a robbery. The scorecards for Ruslan were a discrace. The good guy is the champion today. Thank god I was sure a robbery was abt to happen. BTW the pic with Pac and Floyd... is it real???

If you don't know how hard it is to get through a fight while your opponent is applying not stop pressure,then there is no need to talk to you further anyway.. well 1 judge had algeri winning 5 of the first 6 and the other 4 of the first 6. then fanboys will say well 2 of the judges had algeri winning so it must be true. not sure why fans would be appealing to the credibility of judges who obviously can't score. honestly why didn't they just give every round to algeri? if they gave him all those. shows that they aren't being genuine with their cards. Why is that farfetched? I had Algieri winning 4 of the first 6 and could quite easily see 5. Provodnikov didn't win a single clear round except the first round there.

This fight stinks. Make the rematch and let's get this settled. Provodnikov needs to make some adjustments with Roach and he will KO this kid no doubt. If he would of only had thrown that uppercut whilst infighting as Roach kept telling him.

The fight looked like Ruslan was winning (keyword looked) from what I seen because I was walking away from the fight constantly, I could see why people would think either fighter won. They should have paid off all 3 judges instead of just the 2. Looks too obvious when your robbing a guy if one judge scores it correctly.

It was too close to be a robbery in either direction but the judge who gave Ruslan 117 or whatever was clearly not sober. yeah, him and the hbo scorecard were on some serious crack to justify those scores... 117-109 ruslan is the most absurd card i have seen since someone scored a draw for canelo vs floyd..

It wasn't a robbery, it was just a cheap win. Meaning generic and soft. I can't call it anything less when a guy looks like he got hit in the face with a baseball bat several times. And people are calling it a masterful performance. The work rate got it done. Had Ruslan matched him for punches then what???? I had it 6 rounds apiece with the kds giving ruslan a slight edge 114-112.. But i got no problem with chris winning,, he clearly dominated the 2nd half of the fight. I had ruslan up big after 5 rounds but chris took over the rest of the way.. Not a robbery at all same, i had it 4-2 ruslan after 6 but ended it 7-5 algeiri, results in a draw cos of KD, a win either way wouldnt trouble me

Exactly,, ruslan won more rounds than just the 1st.. judges suck,, ruslan clearly won alot of the early rounds, i gave chris the 2nd but that was about it for the early rounds.. Ruslan was dropping heavy bombs, but after 6 chris took over. I cant believe people actually think algieri won 10 or 11 rounds in the fight,, he won 6 or 7

I dont mind the split decision as i thought it was a close fight with the knockdowns and ruslan built up an early lead that he wasted in the 2nd half of the fight.. Definitely a robbery.. should have been a clear UD to Algieri but instead some dumb judge scored it for Prov so it was only a SD? wtf? yeah the 117-109 ruslan was awful...
