NO. Mayweather is just as good at wasting money as he is at making it. He has a huge gambling problem and like everyone with a gambling problem he claims he is way ahead on those big bets. That's because he only remembers when he wins. He pays the salaries of the large number of people in his entourage. He buys million dollar cars he almost never drives and multi million dollar homes he almost never lives in. Add to that the incredibly expensive jewelry he buy so much off and you have a world class spender. I have never heard about Mayweather investing his money in the stock market. He can spend like that as long as he gets 30 million or better every fight but those days are almost over. There is nothing Mayweather can do when he quits fighting that brings in that kind of money. He can't make as much money off his name as Jordon because Jordon has that clean, wholesome image that Floyd does not have. I doubt he will back off his spending when he quits boxing. he can do both, its very unlikely in both cases though. i would say he stands the best chance at becoming a billionaire, if he invests wisely and finds other avenues for revenue outside the ring he could do it down the line. there isnt enough time and competition for him to go down as the best fighter ever though imo. but he truly is one of the greats already, so i wouldnt say its impossible. just highly, highly, highly unlikely.

Not a chance. MJ changed the entire sports landscape and how athletes can market themeselves. MJ is still the most popular athlete across the world in many polls despite having not played an NBA game in over a decade. Floyd's appeal is very limited once he is done fighting and many companies don't want to be associated with him due to his legal troubles and controversial comments and fighting guys at fatburger. Plus those TMT shirts look like they were printed up at a mall kiosk and will never be 1/100 as popular as the Jordan Brand. So....no..

What a stupid question. Floyd makes alot of money because people pay to see him lose. The fighters he has in his stable are crap with padded records, where would he makey any money 2 years from now? He would make the biggest payday against Pacquiao but he is still scared. Safety first. Floyd may have millions but he will never know what real friendship is.
