Props to all my fellow brahs who weren't delusional. This was as expected an easy win for Cotto. I'm sure everyone will post in here saying how old Sergio was but the fact is Cotto is just a better fight than him and probably beats him 4 years ago too.
So if you picked Cotto to win post in here and I'll rep you 4 lyfe. If you picked Sergio to win admit you were wrong and Sergio is the inferior fighter and I will rep you also.
Bonus points if you dig up proof for picking Cotto
Martinez is damaged goods at this point. No way in hell he beats Cotto.
You are just saying random things that you assume Sergio is good at.
Cotto is going to obliterate Sergio with his jab. That cutesy leaving his hands at his side thing might work against Darren Barker and Chavez Jr. but no way he gets away with it against Cotto. Sergio already gets hit a lot as it is he has been able to coast against mediocre MWs but facing a legit puncher who can put together strong combinations he wont survive.
Whatever man I'm not going to convince you when the fight happens I'll bet you all of your points and even give you 5-1 odds. I seriously think this fight is such easy money for Cotto by stoppage. Everyone looks at Sergio as if he is the one from 2009 fighting Paul Williams. The dude has been washed up for years now and even he knows it by the cherry picked fights he has been making.
If anyone here deserves green its me!!!!!
Not only were the Argentine fanboys coming for my neck, I also swore if Cotto lost I would retire from posting here for 3 months.
Heres the thread, enjoy reading some of those crazy comments toward my prediction.

From day 1 I knew Cotto had this.
Look up all my posts on this fight and I pretty much called everything from Cotto being the faster man with the better boxing ability to the crunching left hook that would put Martinez on the canvas.
A lot of fools tried to argue with me with nothing substantial to back up their argument. A lot of fools on this board don't know boxing.
I've been supporting my dude Casper from the start. I didn't just pick Casper to win but I picked him to finish Martinez.
You boricuas better pay up. I want my Green K with a side of carne guisada and yellow rice.
if it's the serg that fought Murray, then cotto beats him up..
Cotto is by far the most skilled fighter that serg has ever faced.. Yes there is a size difference but I won't be like Hopkins-oscar type difference...
Cotto has fought better guys than serg, and has been in tons of big PPv fights.. I think cotto is a live dog, and i actually think he pulls off the upset, unless it's the serg that fought Chavez.. Then cotto is in trouble..
That's what makes this fight so interesting- how much does serg have left is going to be the main factor in the fight..
Here was my quote for the fight

I picked Cotto to win on my prediction thread
Called since the fight was announced. This had nothing to do with knees. Cotto is better. Even Sergio said so.I'll take some green k. Def need it.
I'll give you some greenK.
Not sure how Martinez was such an overwhelming favourite despite looking bad against Barker and Murray and coming off of knee surgery. I'm surprised Cotto let him off the hook.
will rep all of you guys in the thread when I'm off spread
Lets just take the time to laugh hysterically at the fans in denial blaming it on his knees. :lol1:
I wish I could take credit, but I've got to be honest. I had Cotto's back the whole time being may favorite fighter and all, but I refrained from giving a prediction. I did say I had a bad feeling about this fight, which is true. I won't deny doubting Cotto's chances. All I can say is, I've never been happier to be wrong in my whole life.
