Gabriel Montoya: Richard, in my experience, he went after me. It was the chilling effect that he was trying to do. With the cease and desists, lying to me to my face, things I heard throughout the industry, things people said, and just the moves that were made. He didn't like what I had to say. Rick Reeno told me that he said this about me and that he was going to do to me what he did to Greg Leon, who still owns Boxing Talk. Basically blackball me to the point that I couldn't get any fighters anymore and I would be irrelevant. We don't need people like that in this sport. We need people that respect the country and it's constitution, and it's free press. I wouldn't count Richard Schaefer as one of those people. So, right off the bat, him not being in control, having access to a giant machine such as the Ring magazine... having Schaefer gone we've already gotten better . He's been banned from Golden Boy shows for a while now. We need people that respect the country and it's constitution, and it's free press. Constitution protects the press from government censorship, not private censorship.
