This is close to a done deal. The fight will likely be on ESPN. Roberto Garcia has won twice this year on ESPN, beating Victor Cayo and Norberto Gonzales. Should be an entertaining fight.
Don't know why people have to act like this fight is a waste of time just because we kinda know these guys' level. The actual fight should be really good. This is a good fight for ESPN level stuff. It should be good TV.

Warriors was trying to make a fight with Rios but top rank decided to go with Diego chaves nRios s
Eh, the Chaves fight isn't bad.... I'd still like to see him vs Abregu though
Prescott is getting beaten around that ring as usual, he's just a mediocre fighter with a moderate-heavy right hand that's not really hurt anyone other than Khan years ago.
He probably won't get a main, but an opening bout before a bigger bout is likely
thats likely. I was really hoping he would land a fight with either Abregu or Brandon Rios for their come back fights which take place on 8/2
His chances will look good if he beats Prescott, even better if he beats him cleanly and impressively.
If he can't get on HBO, best plan is to stick to ESPN as much as possible and don't fall behind waiting
exactly bro you know whats up
I've never been too impressed by Garcia. And I don't know how I feel about a career JMW squeezing down to WW to challenge a career LW.
Robert actually has more fights at 147 then he does at 154. His last fight he weighed in at 146 that obviously shows that he doesnt struggle to make 147 furthermore shows that he is a TRUE WELTERWEIGHT
plus prescott is HUGE for lightweight and has been fighting at 140-146 for the last couple fights.
No doubt about that maybe if he pulls an upset against Abregu he might get wha hes been wanting a shot at Thurman or Provodnikov

U never know it could happen, as Abregu needs an opponet with a great record to fight on HBO. Or ShowTime
