Froch is probably the only English fighter that has proven himself time and time again. Everyone else is just building their resumes. Haye was a good fighter at cruiserweight and his last performance against Chisora was impressive. As it stands, I don't feel that besides Froch there are many top current U.K. fighters. Froch has proven himself while everyone else is scrambling to still prove themselves or have a shot at redemption.
If David Haye hadn't quit the sport he would belong in the top 3.
Murray is not a bad choice. I thought he beat Sturm and he certainly gave Sergio a hell of a fight in his backyard.
Degale surprised me yesterday. Wouldn't have expected him to hurt Gonzales like he did (even though the stoppage was horrid.)
Did you really think Gaye had quit the sport? The shameless cunt is back in October.

Of course. Great performance and one he needed. I've always believed he's the kind of fighter who fights up or down to the level of his competition. Gets lazy when he knows he's too good for his opponent. Plus he's been injured. Last night he was on it.
He boxed with groin + knee injuries, since 2012. People can't let go his antics before the Groves fight. He has a scary skill set.
He was well on his way to a genuine stoppage vs Gonzlaez, but the ref ruined it. I think he should fight Kessler next, since Froch too has an option for voluntary. Winner gets Froch and it makes sense for both cuz it gets Degale more ready than ever if he wins and Kessler can have his trilogy.
You and me are probably the only Degale fans on this forum lol. Did you watch the fight?
Without a foubt the buture's fright the buture's chunky.

In terms of accomplishments...
1. Froch
2. Gaye
3. Khan
I know no one agrees with me but I think DeGale has the most talent. Frampton is another who is abundantly talented.

I really do not rate Murray. Credit I felt he beat Sturm but who hasn't from recent memory? He deserves credit and was probably unfortunate not to get a win over Sergio who fell to bits in that fight.
He toughed it out until 5 then took advantage of a badly injured fighter.
I just can't help but think those two fights have hugely flattered a very mediocre, ordinary tough guy.
I don't think he is anything special and more a Euro level/fringe contender.
Capable of giving most middleweights a reasonable go but ultimately falling short against quality.
I don't think Murray is that talented. He had a great gameplan against Sergio though and his style was able to negate Sergio's. I thought he lost to Sturm.

No mention of Froch? Fooking twat.
It says "Your top 3" and not who actually are Top 3. I have the utmost respect for Froch, but Degale is my dude at SMW since, his pro debut.
Froch is the best UK SMW imo.
Probably Froch, Murray, Khan, just because I don't really watch the bantam/feather/etc weights.
Frampton is a good one. Give him a watch if you get the time. Like him a lot.
