You got 3 light middleweight prospects: Jermell and Jermall Charlo and Julian Williams. On last weeks card you saw Jermell Charlo with an overmatched opponent against him and he was content with just scoring his way to victory. He clearly won the fight but showed that he isn't a finisher and lacks killer instinct. Most of his fights have played out that way.
Jermall is more of a puncher than his brother but he still hasn't really been tested yet. He almost got a shot against Carlos Molina until he got hunted down by the feds.
Then you got Julian Williams. He hasn't been on ShowTime yet. They put him on ShowExtreme and Fox. He's knocked out his last 3 opponents and has shown that he is a much better finisher, has much more offensive variety and a much more fan friendly style than the Charlo brothers. They are all Haymon fighters so I don't get why Williams is getting the cold shoulder in favor of the Charlos.
I wasn't aware either of them were getting any "push".
The Jermell guy does not have a bad resume for an up and comer though. And the IBF champ Jermall, his resume is poor in comparison.
Its the twin angle innit. Shame but thats just the game we are in.
Williams has been getting some exposure on Showtimes youtube channel for what its worth. He had his "I am a fighter video" recently and a few other short vids on him.
JRock is one of my favourite prospects. Him vs Jermall Charlo would be amazing. Two up and coming, talented guys, strong, athletic, with good boxing brains facing off. They aren't making big money so they will both be hungry to win and impress.
Really hope it happens though I suspect Charlo will move to MW soon. Even so the strictness of the IBF means Williams will be getting a title fight soon.
Jermall is who he will be fighting. In my opinion neither guy has been tested and will be facing another boxer brought in to win for the first time.
When Julian faced Hugo Centeno Jr they were both undefeated top prospects. Julian dominated him before a bull**** stoppage. Julian has shown me he is the goods. I fully expect him to beat Jermall.

The win over Rosado was a respectable one for Jermell. K9 was supposed to be a test, but Jermall made it look easy. I heard that K9 had a lot of problems before that fight though for what it's worth. Good fight nonetheless.
With Trout, Charlos, Williams, Andrade, Vanes, and Lara that division should pick up again soon. Erickson Lubin will be ready for them in 2 years also.
The time of reckoning is coming. I think Williams could beat Jermell, but idk about Jermall

Jermell got "exposed" a bit for me. On my card Martirosyan beat him... I don't write off the kid tough because he has some god fundamentals but on that fight he didn't really looked like some blue chip prospect
I got a light middleweight prospect for you that could give them all a run for there money...

Tony Harrison!! He needs to step up though.

I agree with what you said. Williams is more enjoyable to watch because of his killer instinct and I think he is even a better fighter than the excellent twins. I think being so good and twins brings them extra attention but I think Williams can beat them.
