in his prime the hawk would be the most feared boxer in the middleweight division... looking at todays middleweight div. I see him marching through the entire weight class... some poster may not know or ever heard of Jackson but, if you google him or youtube him you would see what he was bring in the ring with him... does anyone else believes he demolishes the entire division????
Jacksons chin gets way too much flack
The Mike McCallum fight was stopped mainly through bodyshots and it was a premature stoppage.
McClellan & Taylor was ATG punchers at the weight & whoever else stopped him, he was well, well past his best, about 40 and coming back down in weight.
He walks through all of todays 154 crop & the middleweights, no problem.
He has 6 losses, all 6 by TKO. Not much else to say, there's a 100% chance that if you beat Julian Jackson it would be by TKO.
With a chin like Amir Khan's, sure he does, as long as he stayed away from Golovkin, Martinez, or any decent puncher. Which would actually not be cleaning out the division.
He would be in this era.
Who is going to beat him though? Macklin? LOL Geale? LMAO!
Shot to bits Sergio who is going on 80? GGG who leads with his face?
Golovkin apparently has one of the best defences in boxing.

Jackson would demolish guys... Ggg has a chance to stop him, but Jackson could just as easily stop ggg..
Jackson is much better than quillen, sturm, geale, etc..
Serg would be a good fight, especially with his movement,, serg may win a decision
He would be in this era.

Since, we are imagining Jackson fighting today in his prime age then it's only fair we assume Sergio from the Kelly Pavlik fight. Martinez would stop Jackson late.
All of his 6 losses were stoppages. Martinez would have demolished him. Jackson had a great punch, but a fragile chin. Maravilla would have exposed that vulnerability in later rounds, because Maravilla himself can not only give, but take shots.
Julian Jackson is,IMO,the greatest puncher in the history of boxing, but I see Sergio and GGG beating him. His chin was really shaky...It wasn't total glass, but it was questionable at best.
But yeah overall Jackson was a beast...Herol Graham is probably still out. That is the most brutal KO I've ever seen. My God it was vicious. Graham was actually pretty good BTW.
He would be in this era.

You don't know that. I'm just saying he's wasn't all that. I think Tito was much better power puncher. I'm entitled to my opinion right?
Julian Jackson wasn't that great.
He would be in this era.

Cant say that tbh, I mean there have been some tremendously game MW's over the years who could have put Jackson on more L's than the 6 he had. He was however probably the most devastating puncher at MW ever.
