lol to much credit to floyd(one punch away of being worth nothing) and al haymond.It won't work in boxing unless the government steps in and creates a single governing body like the nba,nfl etc.

I think they will use the existing sanctioning bodies for the belts, but yeah I would love to see a full blown organization with it's own fighters and belts.. Sanctioning bodies are one of the major cancers in the sport

You guys are making a bunch of baseless theories. Ellerbe in the article above said Scaeffer wouldn't be on their team.. Also, Ellerbe should probably work out the fact Mayweather promotions isn't an actual promotional company.

Considering how quiet Scaefer has been, it seems like he woke up just in time. That's just my take anyway, everyone is just kind of waiting for the next piece to fall I agree, No one on the outside knows for sure, Haymon doesn't even give interviews I doubt he'd give up what his future plans are but just looking at the landscape of boxing This is the way I see it going, I could be way off base just speculating.

It seems to me that Haymon and Mayweather Promotions are coping what UFC has done. I believe you will see Golden Boy and Top Rank merge sort of speak to stay relevant. It obvious Richard Schaefer has seen his last days with GBP and will no doubt join Haymon and Mayweather. Bob and Oscar will out do Floyd and Al nobody likes Floyd they just watch him to see if he losses. Who wants to watch Al Haymon mismatches once Floyd's gone who do they have Broner?

Mayweather doesn't have a promoter's license so Haymon would be screwed without GB. Since he's an adviser/manager, he's not allowed to be a promoter so it's all kind of a moot point right now. $0.50 has a promoter's license but his relationship with Floyd is messed. It looks like that's what they are trying to do but I think Oscar woke up in time to stop them, and Kathy is also throwing a wrench in there with her lawsuit.
