Gotta know for future reference, when he fights KOvalev and gets kO'd in 6 rounds.... just flash this when people try to rag on him being weak chinned or what not
Obviously fonfara is not world class, but he took an early beating, and took it like a man, and still tried to win and be competitive and almost pulled off a late rally comeback..
Huge props to Fonfara for his heart. I dont see him winning any big fights, but he showed toughness in there vs Adonis
Still haven't seen it, internet too slow to DL fight.
So Fonfara didn't have balls this fight? I dunno, popped into the RBR to see
Yeah he had balls. Kept coming forward, despite getting hit. But he is kind of soft, and that goes back to his past too. He's got heart so he fights through the pain and pushed back enough to where Adonis wilted bad in rounds 7-8-9 but then gave the fight away. Never understand why someone fights hard when they're getting their ass kicked, but then go passive after they hurt their opponent. Fonfara had more balls when he was getting beaten down than he did after he knocked down Adonis.

I think he showed resiliency and heart/balls! lol . He sure came to fight and not for a paycheck!
I think Fonfara showed he is a tough out for sure. what really surprised me was how easy he was hitting Stevenson which usually is very good defensively. He better go back to the gym and figure it out because if he is that open with Kovalev, its going to be ugly for him!
the guy is tough as nails, like him or not. Stevenson probably would have stopped him if he didnt hurt his hand though.
Lol, yeah and Haye would have beaten Wlad without a sore toe and Bradley would have beaten Pacquiao without a sore leg.

He was pretty tough on Stevenson in the second have of the fight. I think Kovalev would KO Fonfara in the first half of the fight. Fonfara is smart and fearless with decent skill.

Kovalev would have gotten Fonfara out in 3 probably. I was very surprised by Adonis everything looked off tonight.
Nothing special. Didn't have the heart of a champion. Don't know why such fights have to reach the last round when one fighter's aim is just to last the distance. All he did was to protect his body. He could have just quit early and stop wasting people's time. Every effing round he slumps as if he's about to get hit on his body.
He clearly showed Adonis has stamina issues that could be scary going against a guy like kovolev or another serious puncher
It could be dangerous against Kovalev, but only if Kovalev can keep the pace he fights in the later rounds. Also, it probably doesn't matter because a Stevenson-Kovalev fight would simply end before we get a chance to find out.
I laughed when the Showtime crew said it could be an issue against Hopkins though. I can't even remember when was the last time Hopkins pushed the pace of a fight!
Nah, wasn't impressed. He got hurt 4-5 times, 3 times being to the body. And Stevenson just couldn't finish him off for whatever reason. Probably because outside of his left cross, he has no offensive arsenal.
