Can you imagine if a sprinter made one of his fellow competitors wear ugg boots for a race? This is why boxing has yet to become a legitimate sport.

It's just the type of leather/finish, just like some leather shoes have a soft/wrinkled texture and others have a stiff shiny texture. Once you put them on and tape up the padding is pushed tight against the glove and they both look similar. But the red gloves, which they brought out after Ellerbe *****ed about the Teal gloves, looked way better. Even though TMT *****ed about those too, Everlast needs to step up their QC. Funny how those Everlast MX gloves been around since 2008 & since Floyd said they are bad gloves everyone jumps in the "dangerous" gloves bandwagon:blackeye: I thought the same thing. The MX gloves have been accepted a perfectly safe and legitimate for over 5 years. Now all of a sudden they are the professional boxing equivalent of brass knuckles... Everlast should sue Floyd, he is ruining them.
