When a trainer tells his fighters to be dirty then he's lost it.
The name of the game is boxing not street fighting. I'm tired of cheats and it's high time commissions did something about this.
Garcia used the same tactics when Ortiz faced Mayweather. He asked him many times during training and the fight itself to be dirty. Ortiz went all out to head butt Mayweather because that was actually their strategy since they knew they could not beat Mayweather in a boxing match. Thank God the ref saw through the bull****.
As for Maidana he lost all respect from me. Only a non boxing fan would actually think Maidana gave a spirited performance. He should have been disqualified in round one to be honest. He was constantly using his elbow. He got Mayweather with that elbow and Ariza was shouting 'he's hurt him'. He cut Mayweather with that headbutt and used the headbutt many times. He deliberately hit Mayweather below the belt many times and used his knee more than twice and even Mike Tyson did not like that. Sadly just because the world wants to see Mayweather losing not many care about such. The Mayweather fight against Maidana was disgusting and all the boxing rules were broken. Tony Weeks who's usually a good referee was off that night.
I'm not in support of criminals getting pay days and I hope Maidana is not rewarded through a rematch. He can go back to fighting for peanuts if he has no respect for boxing rules. I would rather see people who respect the sport actually getting the big fights. Robert Garcia is just a douchebag and so are his fighters. They need to be investigated.
Maidana has always been clear about his Jimmy Hoffa mentality: he does to others what they do to him, only worse.
Now a dirty sht bag like Floyd with his elbows, palm face smashes, low blows and forearms to the neck biching about Maidana being dirty, thats rich. :lol1:
Yes both men were fighting dirty. Floyd is big on pushing the head down and jamming his forearm in his opponent's neck, he likes to create space with his elbows too. Maidana's biggest dirty tactic in the fight, Id say, is the punching behind the head.

The camera was on Maidana's back. The arc of the punch was low. Period.
Maidana did some good work that was partially mitigated by camera angle.. in fact I bet you missed a Maidana jab that buzzed Mayweather in the last seconds of the 6th while he was trying to throw the right hand...which is consequently why they were eyeballing each other at the bell.
Likewise in the 7th Maidana landed perhaps his hardest body shot of the night, also in the last seconds. A lunging lead uppercut to May's gut. This also got May's attention at the bell. It was from the momentum of that body shot that Maidana surged into the 8th.
9th was May's most dominant round.
but yeah.. some people need gift wrapped presentation to notice a punch. Its why May is so successful... he gift wraps the presentation for his audience quite well.
continue to be ignorant though for all I care. I can only be a guide I cannot lead the blind to see.
Those who know, know. You have to be someone that has actually thrown a punch and knows body mechanics as they pertain to each shot be it a jab, right hand, hook... or in this case, an uppercut.
the arc of the punch was low. And Maidana's reaction, a slight shift of his lead foot back around the impact area clearly suggests a low blow. I think May definitely got hit lower, but Maidana was retaliating for a punch below the beltline...
just because the camera didnt spell it out for you doesnt mean it didnt happen.

mayweather is one of the cleanest fighters in boxing. i have watched all his pro fights and he has never once used his elbow.
what you are referring to is him using his forearm, which is obviously very different. haters always say elbow to make it out to be worse than it really is. but even when he does use his FOREARM its not an aggressive move, he does it to keep guys from headbutting him which no reasonable person would have a problem with.
edit: and mayweather won the fight handily, it wasnt close at all. the first half was close, but then floyd took over and clearly separated himself from maidana down the stretch.
Bruh?...
I enjoy your insight on fights, and the opinions you provide (knowing you are a boxer yourself. I think that you are the same guy), but this post is just tragic to say the least.
Lol, keep in mind, I have no dog in this fight, but for fans to act as if Floyd has not used his elbows/forearms is a bit delusional at best...
But Mayweather uses his elbows and forearms as a defensive technique and not as an offensive one. Theres's a difference. He gets away with it most of the time because it's the opponent that moves forward into his forearm.
I am sure this is not the last post I will see like this in this topic. I do find it interesting though, that you don't seem to understand that elbows (in any form) are illegal in the sport of boxing. It is true that Floyd gets away with it more than any fighter, but that still doesn't make it any less illegal.
Being a fan of a fighter should not make you turn such a blind eye, or try and explain away that fighters "dirty tactics"...
Do I have to repeat that I lost respect for Floyd when he denied Maidana the right to fight with legal puncher gloves?
... Well, I repeat... (I didn't have any issues about the "guru" until this one)...

If u are talking about gifs...wtf are u looking at? Where did Floyd hit him in nuts?
Jesus Christ man watch the gif  it's LITERALLY right there
That punch could have landed on the belt...u cant see where his fist landed. Different angle would help.....ur assuming like the other two.

Ha they earned my respect. Just the opposite. This isn't a beauty contest. If somebody was elbowing me in the face I would stomp on his nuts. F*cking prick.
'b-b-b-but paquiao does it....waaaaaaa'. Seriously, you fanboys fuks always pull pac out of your arses even when its not relevant. Surest way you can tell a floydspastic!:lol1:
Yup Pac and many others....nah again not a Floydspastic, I bought Pacs last two fights because i like watching him fight. I appreciate witnessing greatness.
I think everyone would be ok with the sucker punch if it didn't end the fight....that's what sucked about it. Again Maidana did what he needed to do to gain a advantage and attempt to make Mayweather get careless and start swinging recklessly. Its the refs fault, not Maidana's, he fought a smart fight imo.
Just saying almost all fighters use that elbow when in close. Mayweather probably more because his style with his arm down around his midsection. I remember a video of Pacquiao showing reporters while training with Roach, acting as if he missed a straight righ, how he brought it back with the point of his elbow being in his opponents face if they attempted to jump in. I'll try to find it.

Ok so the sucker punch heard around the world was because of a stupid intentional head but and you Floyd fans are saying protect yourselves at all time so then the same applies to Floyd right? Ha he gotten ball whacked or elbowed he should be protecting himself at all times. It's only ok when Floyd does it. You can't have it both ways. Someoneput up a vid of all the elbows Floyd issued when he fights. The Hatton fight was a great example of it.

You know you remind me of those closet homosexuals.....almost all your posts have to do with sucking male genitals, gayness, the slurp slurp comments. So against what you actually do in the public eye.
Sure Floyd has crazy over the top fans, but you can't even debate a subject that you were sure about earlier.
Let me let you and booty dew get back to what it is you guys do.
Simply observations of you greasy, bumsniffing floydturds and there are quite a few of you so there is a lot to see here.
No, its the noise that comes from the big gay conga of floydspastics in this thread.
