Supposedly this was some blow out of a fight. Maidana won 2 rds. It wasn't close. It's not true that almost everyone had it 7-5, 6-6, 7-5.
So what's with all the excuses?
Floy was fouled doe
Floy CHOSE to stand toe to toe doe
Floy was heatbroken doe
What are some others?
Your bothered because the technicality of it all, and I think it's interesting to discuss this fight because it goes to show people still don't know how to properly score a fight which goes far beyond the Mayweather-Maidana fight. Also, the fight wasn't close.
Floydiots dont know how to score a fight, thats all we have learnt. Cany you believe that dickhead at floydhype that had it 118-110!....What a cunt!
If you ask someone why did floyd have a tougher than expected fight, the only way they can answer it is to use the things that occurred directly before and during the fight. How else can a poster give a valid, credible answer?
or maybe admit that floyd isnt what he used to be? ever thought of that? or is it all on his opponent? like i said before the fight, maidana has no chance, maidana wont be able to catch floyd, etc.
after the fight, floyd deserve more credit, maidana is a tough fighter, etc. again nothing mention about floyd's decline, instead lets hype maidana up to make floyd look better. the cloest thing a floyd fan on here has said about floyd's declining is, guys u got to remember floyd is 37. LOL!!!
DOn't be fake my man, almost every poster, regardless of what fighter they like the most-thought floyd would win easy. Anyone who actually predicted Maidana to win was criticized and any floyd fan who suggested it would be close was called the usual cadre of names.
AFter the fight-we all saw a tough fight where the winner wasn't determined after 4-5 rounds as has been the case. We saw a fight where after 8 rounds it was still anyones fight. Thats what made alot of people-not just floyd fans-make those kinds of comments. They based it on what they saw. wouldn't you expect that?
Kids ride to the wheels fall off. Adults make a choice before the fight then evaluate what they saw after.
exactly!! then why all the reasons as to why floyd had a tougher time than expected?? more like kids make a choice before the fight then make excuses afterward.
I think it was, but if you feel otherwise its ok with me.
It wasn't though, not even a difficult fight to score. For that very reason that's probably why it's still being discussed......
They thought it would be a shutout and it was nowhere near that. They're trying to convince themselves more than anything. These are excuses of why it was a tough fight because they're just as shocked as Floyd was when it wasn't easy.
floyd won a tough fight. why does anyone need any excuses. People are simply giving their opinions on why the fight was closer than expected. whats wrong with that?
lets see maybe because before the fight their opinion was --
maidana has no chance, floyd is gonna ko maidana, this is a fight where floyd is gonna make a statement. maidana will not be able to catch floyd.
after the fight --
floyd deserve way more credit than what he is getting. maidana is not an easy opponent, name me any current WW right now that can beat maidana.
i mean if ur gonna keep 100 then ride with it til the wheels fall off.

well as OP kinda hints they are not really opinions and more like propaganda.
