After watching the fight for the third time I'm convinced GGG would whipe Mayweather off the ring, don't get me wrong, Floyd is great and all that and GGG might be too big for him (although if you call yourself TBE, you have to push yourself to the limits right? Just ask Roberto Duran) but even if they were the same size, Golovkin would smash Mayweather.
He's a stylistic nightmare for that self claimed TBE or guys like Lara for that matter.
Doubt it. GGG is just not good enough to beat him. Sorry. Notice I said "beat" him. He has to actually BEAT Floyd not just win 4 rounds, not just land a few punches but actually BEAT him.
GGG gets worked by Mayweather. 116-112, 117-111
Floyd beats GGG. I think people believe because golovkin himself wants this fight. But he can find out that Foyd is not so simple in the fight night.
What I mean by that. Floyd will just avoid Golovkin paunches and keep energy till last rounds. And when ggg will be tired (and overdrained all night), Floyd will take his win.
To win ggg needs to go inside, but Mayweather will evade since he is not Stevens to stay there.
So I pick Floyd - Because he is crafty snake in fight night.
But if ggg finds antidote to Floyds bites (counter paunches) and controls fight speed then he really can annihilate Floyd how mongoose does.
Well he's looking to fight at 168 next, so he'll drop 2 divisions as well.
dumb sh1t
As a one off and thats looking unlikely. Come back with another excuse
Ive never heard this, link? Obviously its harder to drop 2 divisions than 1, dumb sh1t

Mikkel Kessler also said he'd make 154 for Pacquiao :lol1:
Do you believe he'd do that too?
Get your head out of your ass.

Since, we are assuming that they were the same size then let us also assume that it's Floyd from 3 years ago and that version beats GGG.
He fcuking said hed go down to 154 for that fight. What more do you want? He needs to make Floyd stutter before you believe it?

What fantasies? :lol1:
What are you being a little poosay about?
Where's the noise then? why doesn't GGG call him out and say let's fight at 154? Why is he moving up to fight at SMW if he makes 154?
Of course they are saying they would make 154 for Floyd, don't be silly. They know it will never happen.

Well his coach said hed do it. But dont let that get in the way of your fantasies

The apparent #1 middleweight in the world now operating at super middle would annihilate a 38yr old welterweight? I should f*cking hope so too.
:lol1: It's like it's news.
A guy who's a 37 year old passed prime WW, who comes to the ring at 150 lbs or less would lose to a career MW who's in his prime, one of the hardest punchers in the sport and his next fight looks like it's going to be at Super Middleweight. Like you said, should hope so.
That's obviously not what I said.
I said I don't think 1) he makes 154, and 2) his handlers would let him try to make 154.

You mean 2x, lineal unified reigning LMW champ. Ggg willing to drop down and meet him at Floyds weight. Fair game
They wouldnt let him fight Floyd?! Lol whatever makes you sleep sound at night

yeah.. he said that.
I don't think he would do it, and I don't think his handlers would let him.

If they were exactly the same size it would be a very good, even matchup with Floyd having a slight technique advantage.
The size they are now, Floyd would have absolutely no way to keep GGG from walking him straight down and beating him down into whatever corner he was nearest to.

Right? It would be embarrassing if Golovkin didn't mess Floyd up.
GGG cant make 154
exactly. this is not a small middleweight we are talking about.
he's been at or around the middleweight limit for 10 years. he looks drawn out when he makes 160 lbs. we know that he dries out by running in a sweatsuit to make weight. we've seen it on HBO documentaries.
golovkin would annihilate mayweather. so would andre ward. does that mean they're better fighters? they might be, but it's not because they can beat up a 37 year old welterweight.
ward and golovkin are much closer in size than mayweather and golovkin.
mayweather is a welterweight. he fights at 154 when the money is good.
