I have never seen Floyd overcome adversity late in a fight. We have seen all the great ones do it. Finally Floyd showed me that moment last night. Late in a close fight I seen Floyd takeover and win rounds 9-11 ( 12 wasn't much of a round from either fighter). I've waited years to see that. And I have Floyd winning 7-5 or 8-4 depending on how you judge round 4 and 12. I'm sorry but Maidanas flurries were vicious but he was winded in the second half. He was throwing jabs just to keep Floyd off of him in the second half. The cleaner and harder shots were also landed by Floyd. Great fight. Tip my hat to Chino but you gotta build your stamina to maintain the type of attack he launched in rounds 1 and 6.
P.S. I would like to see a rematch but I only see that going the same as the second Castillo fight. (Yes I had Floyd beating Castillo 7-5 or 8-4 also in the first fight). They know Floyd doesn't have an opponent in September. I see the setup for a rematch. I'll pass
Rd
1 Chino
2 Floyd
3 Floyd
4 could go either way, leaning toward Floyd though
5 Chino
6 Chino
7 Floyd
8 Chino
9 Floyd
10 Floyd
11 Floyd
12 Weak round for both but leaning to Chino
what defining moment? when flod force maidana to change gloves at the last minute and almost lost the fight?

Maidana wanted to wear gloves that looked damn near used. Come on dog. stop
Glovegate was the defining moment. Sad but true. You gonna make stupid prefight stipulations, expect very little return on your investment.
Glovegate 2014.

Finally Mayweather stuggled against an easy win. You can't keep picking opponents that are sure wins because sooner or later it will bite you in the arse!
Thank goodness for the friendly judges because now he can continue to pick the opponents of least resistance! Khan anyone?
The defining moment was when Floyd and Ellerbe cried that Maidana can't put on punchers gloves or there would be no fight.
Floyds defining moments are Glovegate, and Catchweight Mania.
You asked who did Manny FIGHT in his prime coming off a dominant win. You didn't ask if he beat the guy. BTW, Barrera was 29 when he fought Manny.
Ok thanks for clarification. But if thats the case what all time greats were in his division at the time he was there?
When did he beat JMM CLEARLY? Berrera was in his 30s by then lol idiotYou asked who did Manny FIGHT in his prime coming off a dominant win. You didn't ask if he beat the guy. BTW, Barrera was 29 when he fought Manny.

Barrera was 29 when he fought Manny the first time. Manny clearly beat Marquez the first fight. A judge admitted he made a scoring error for the first round.
But keep trying though, its impressive how your thread about Floyd became about Manny.
What great did pac fight that was in his prime coming off a dominant win? .....I'll wait
Not sure what that has to do with anything but um,
Marco Antonio Barrera TKO 4 Kevin Kelley 041203
Juan Manuel Marquez TD Derrick Gainer 011103
