Everyone complains about HBO, but what happen to Showtime? the commentators were praising the crap out of Floyd and than they kept showing the times Floyd lands a punch even if its a grazing uppercut, to make it seem as if that was the best round for Floyd.
The Showtime bias for Floyd was sad, even having the fight even midway? Maidana clearly won those early rounds on pressure and workrate. I had the fight a draw, but was giving the edge to Maidana. Maidana tends to gas later in fights but he did enough to get either a draw or slight edge on points.
Also Jim Grey wtf? this is the same guy who used to be cold and ask those hard questions, now he is over there hugging Floyd in the corner BEFORE THE FIGHT STARTS!!!! wtf is that crap? Seriously why are you hugging it out like you are boys? and he is butt kissing Floyd too, praising him as the best ever trying to get others to praise Floyd, Jim Grey is handling Floyd with baby gloves.
Jim Grey interviewing Tyson trying to get Tyson to kiss Floyds butt, but it backfired because Tyson took a shot at Floyds record by saying Chavez Sr was like 97 and 0 lol basically saying Chavez sr was greater than floyd.
This is sad.
I watched it on BoxNation and omg it was shocking how much they were all over Floyd, it was almost as ifthey couldnt see Maidana until he was on the recieving end, realy shocking stuff
This. Early in the fight when maidana was getting Mayweather on the ropes and hitting him in the body and some shots to the head, they would say nothing until floyd got in a counter then they would say"... Sharp counter by mayweather...". I was like wtf, usually the boxnation crew doesnt nuthug a fighter. During JMM v Pac 3 they were fair.
What annoyed the hell out of me when Showtime didn't show a replay of Maidan's best punch of the fight in the 5th round. Seriously, I give don't care out of about what the corner work. Show more replays.
holyshit i totally missed that shot.

I also noticed this. It's probably an LGBT rainbow thing to be honest
:nonono:
Notice how Mayweather has all the fans in the front rows too smh, no ''OOOOHHH'' from the crowd for that punch.... yet when Floyd lands one of his pitty potshots his minions have an orgasm :nonono:
Floyd grabs guys like a jiu jitsu player, every time he gets ina tight situation he will hold on for dear life, he did it when Mosley rocked him he wouldn't let go and Mosley tried to yank his arms out, Floyd has that gi joe kung fu grip.
What happened to Showtime? They copied HBO's nazi style propaganda model to a T. Bernstein most of all looks like a moronic sellout. The only thing he had was a basic level of integrity. Now gone.
Yeah, Al sold out big time, never thought I'd see the day he would play company man.

This makes it I believe the third fight where mayweather has fought and the commentators have failed to mention the name Pacquiao. They talked about who Floyd could be fighting next and not even one mention of the name Pacquiao. At least HBO will mention Floyds name and discuss the idea of them fighting. Mayweather has to have some kind of a deal where showtime is not allowed to ask any questions regarding pacquiao in the post fight interviews. I thought that was pretty disgusting of them to not even mention the fight the entire world still wants to see. They act like Pacquiao doesn't exists in the ww ranks.
Its in the contract, you are not allowed to mention Pacquiao name around the DIVA. When floyd went to Africa he gave specific rules through his media person that reporters are not allowed to mention Pacquiao.
When Broner called out Pacqiuao they cut his interview lol.
At least Broner has the balls to call out Pacquiao and let Maidana wear horse hair gloves.

HBO does the same thing but at least they show replays of both fighters, last nights PPV was the most ridiculous bias commentating I've ever seen.
Paulie will say some things here and there, but even he knew his place when Floyd was fighting.
The commentating was just really bad. And the one guy, whatever his name is, sounds more like a damn MMA commentator, freaking annoying as all heck.
Mauro he is the least annoying he is just the play by play guy he doesn't participate in those showtime scorecards, I don't mind him at all.
Bernstein, farhood, malignaggi were showing so much bias on their score cards. they had it EVEN at the midway point! wtf
I lost respect for Bernstein he has always been known as the least biased, but I guess he has to be the company man now that haymon, shaeffer has taken over.
the hypocrisy is amazing,, u know damn well if this was flipped, they'd be flipping out and on the whole "HBO IS SO BIAS OMGG"
i dont mind what jim grey did at all, whatever. but its the dudes that bash a network for being bias, they have an investment in pac. just like showtime has an investment in floyd, but when hbo does it, it's bias
unbelievable.
When Jim and Floyd hugged that bothers me, wtf? why was Jim even on the ring apron in the corner before the fight starts? he is the post fight interviewer. Why did they hug? that would be like Jim Lampley or Larry Merchant in the corner of Pacquiao and hugging him before the fight lol.
That is the first time I seen this. I thought Showtime was the unbias network?

Watch the fight again or change the sport.
I don't really think they were that biased towards Mayweather. They didn't say anything about the glove issues which was bs but their scores and commentary didn't favour Mayweather. They had the fight close to the draw and Maidana in no way deserved more. 115 113 is being generous to Marcos.
What's happening to this site? It wasn't easy for Mayweather but he definitely won that fight. I understand it was unexpected but still he won. 116-112 imo
I did watch it again. Still don't see how Mayweather could have won any of the first 5.
But there is no way they split the first six rounds 3-3 is what I'm saying.
I can easily see 7-5 for either or a draw.
disgraceful.....after Broner-Molina, I chose to watch ****ing televisa....ignorant ****s too, but they didnt have a horse in this race...and I can just tune them out, because theyre so obviously ignorant not particularly biased....

that was a damn good shot
I agree. I could not believe they had it even after 6. Round six was the very first round I saw Floyd win.
