while khan was clinching, he's nowhere on the level of the CURRENT wlad , more like the old wlad (who wud clinch, but also box more) since manny died wlad clinches way more, lennox was the same
wlad and ll both have suspect chins, so they fight from a distance with a jab, its about time khan fought the same,
this is worrying a lot of floyd and maidana fanboys
Listen to LacedUp all happy that Khan won and doing it from the same stylistic mold of Wladimir Klitschko...
So when will you change your avatar to a nice picture of Wladimir Klitschko?
I said directly after the fight that the excessive holding needed to stop.
That being said, it was nowhere near as bad as Wladimir Clinchko. Your guy just leaps for a hug, it's uncanny.
Hunter has done a terrific job.
Terrific job of turning Khan into a dirty fighter. Punch punch lean, punch punch tie up. Rinse and repeat.
I am loving the new Khan who fights for himself and not to entertain to you all. Oh so you would like him to be entertaining only to get dropped in a silly exchange?
Keep squealing.
It was an absolute white wash Khan schooled him!
I think I had it 118-104 at the end of the fight, only scored one round for Collazo I think and even at that it was me being extremely generous, the dude just got his ass beat up.
Also It was nice to see Khan was capable of dropping Collazo.
Haters gonna hate. Loads of guys were picking Collazo to KO Khan. Khan beat the hell out of the drunkard. I had him 15 points clear at stumps. :boxing:
Wlad and Khan have always had similar styles (given the massive size difference).
And this is why I said when Amir was leaving Freddie Roach that he should of looked for the tutelage of Emanuel Steward (R.I.P).
I love how all the guys who picked Collazo to stop Khan suddenly says he's an overhyped bum. :lol1:
Khan took him to school.

I hope he sticks to this style, first time i've ever seen Khan comfortable not coming forward. More measured in his style.
Hell there was a point where he threw two lead right hands in a row, he never would have been comfortable doing that a few years ago off the ropes.
Great performance but it was boring as hell.
Disagree
Even in the 12th round you know one punch can change it all for a guy like Khan
and the drama with the low blows and holding kept thing interesting too
I was thinking the same thing
Is it that he just can't fight on the inside or that he's too scared to?
Anyway this Khan is elite
That said, Khan's constant holding and pushing is definitely over the top. I can't understand how he doesn't lose more points for it than he already does.
Remember Wlad-Povetikin?
Wlad held more often than he landed punches
0 points taken
Just depends on the ref, some see it as a legitimate part of the game
Floyd didn't get any warning or get called out by the commentators for holding to get out of the corner/against the ropes
Lol at the op hate.
No matter what ,the hate still comes in.
Khan executed a great plan yday, and dominated collazo like never before. Regardless, his style and performance was as always exciting and he was just as active in this fight. I believe if he continues in this way he may well be dominant at 147.
You seem to be forgetting the fact Collazo constantly came with his head low, and was also throwing low blows all night , okay in retaliation to some of khans habits. But we know it does not get more dirty than a punch below the belt. I hope you are aware of Mayweather and his famous elbow. All well taught boxers have tactics and remember its a fight, it will get messy.

That right hand for the first KD was beautiful and Khan didn't even turn into the punch, good to see he has some pop at 147.
But I fully understand the comparsion with Wlad, punch, punch, grab, push, rinse and repeat but Khan showed good movement and some solid combinations.
I was extremely impressed by him. I'd put down a roll over bet broner, kahn, mayweather to win (even money - which I though was great odds) and was thinking the kahn fight was the one i'd be biting my nails through. he ending up putting in an awesome performance and it ended up being mayweather giving me fits lol.
Kahn looked damn good. he'll really be trying to land floyd now.
