Youd think that Floyd after being so rested with layoffs, retirements and fighting only once every 18months when he could get away with it, his fans wouldn't complain if he had to get down to work and fight guys like Sergio, but obviously not.? Floyd went AWOL when he became the man to beat and p4p no1 as that carriers responsibilities of fighting everyone who calls you out. Pac took up the challenge and took Floyds place taking on everyone he stood up to be counted. Floyd is supposedly no1 yet wont do the work to justify that claim, and would rather let Cotto do it for him the guy he beat.!? Pac is FOTD and won titles in more divisions than Floyd, so youd think he was entitled to a breather or two and give Pac some chillout time. But no! Pac is coming off a win over a p4p fighter and Floyd is fighting the guy who lost to Pacs sparring partner, yet still Floiyd fans complain in defense of charity case Floyd. Poor lil Floyd. How good were the people you claim Floyd ducked if they became washed up and no longer good enough to beat him after a 1 year "retirement"? I dont get it. Floyd apparently never ages, while everyone else only has a 1 year window where they can beat him, huh?

The difference is when Martinez was still a great fighter Cotto didn't duck him. Also, there is definite size difference between Floyd and Manny. Floyd couldn't get down further than 146 lbs for the Marquez fight while Manny got down to 138 lbs for Hatton.

Cotto fights any and everyone, Even "the cherry picker" Mayweather is expected or does fight even more than the "god" Pacquiao"....though I will recant if Pac fights Canelo... Now the thread can end...( bowing ):arabia:

tell us how your a white guy who thinks he's black pretending to be latino to answer your question manny started at the flyweight division and has already worked his way up 8 divisions with the 7th being where he feels comfortable ... no one else in the history of the sport has done this no one has won 8 major world titles in different weight classes, only he and mayweather have won 4 lineal titles, but there are plenty of fighters that started at a low weight and move up, even higher than Manny with success Len Harvey started at flyweight at 15 and was world ranked at 160-heavyweight Georges carpentier started at flyweight and won the lt. heavy title, regional titles at lower weights and fought for the heavy title Sam Langforde beat world champions from lightweight to heavyweight Tommy Hearns won titles from 147-175 the same 28 pounds Manny completed as did Leonard to win his first and last titles Jimmy McClarnin beat world champions from 112-147 was champ at 147 and beat 13 world champions and 11 hall of famers in just like 5-10 more fights than Manny the list goes on....

If he really wanted to he could probably end his career as a 7 division world champion by beating Martinez and then old Hopkins.
