antonio margarito - dude was a monster. loaded wraps or not, his style would have been too much for mayweather. just not sure though if margarito had enough to knock him out without cement blocks.
paul williams - he was once a top 3 p4p before the martinez fight. yeah he lost to lara but williams' volume punching would have troubled mayweather and probably wins via robbery
(prime) cotto - back when cotto and mayweather were both still part of top rank, they never fought each other. arum later said mayweather was ducking cotto. if they fought, mayweather should still win on points
sergio martinez - sergio's laser guided left hand or the quicker counter right of mayweather. if mayweather doesn't get knocked out, then maybe he wins on points
manny pacquiao - result remains to be seen.

Floyd beats them all but Floyd versus Manny in 2010 WITH NO BLOOD TESTS for Manny would have been a great fight. With testing, Floyd schools Manny. Sergio at 160 a few years ago would have been a great fight also but, imo. I think Mayweather is too good for all of them when its all said and done.
People are blinded by hate when it comes to Floyd but he's the best of this era by a mile. Wish Pac would have taken the tests back in 2010 so all the duck Bs wouldn't be a legit distraction.
And Margarito ? Lmao. His slow azz would have got gatti'd had he fought Floyd. Cheatin mfer.
i try to be nuetral and not bash mayweather but 08-09 version of pacquiao scared the sh*t out of mayweather that he chose to retire. who does that?
right now, their fight still makes sense and better late than never

Revisionist history at its best. Floyd "retired" in mid-2008. Around that time him vs Pac wasn't even considered a possibility. People only started talking about it after Pac moved up to WW and beat Oscar later that year.
So the suggestion that Pac "scared" Floyd into retirement is at best laughable.
He would have beaten them all. He's just too afraid of that one loss and a coward. He could make so much more money by fighting one of the top dogs, then lose, then get a rematch, win, and then give that other guy a rematch again and so on. Yet this idiot rather fight these bums and make way less money just because it's a guaranteed win.

If you're neutral you'd acknowledge that the reason that the version of Pacquiao that scared Mayweather to death didn't fight him was beacuse he and his team walked from random testing that Pacquiao now thinks is good for boxing, according to Roach anyway. If Pacquiao didn't do that, he wouldn't be part of this discussion.

Firstly, no you don't. Secondly your facts are patently wrong. He retired in 2007. He actually returned just as Manny annihilated his first real WW test in Miguel Cotto, so really you haven't got a f*cking clue, do you?:dunce:
Williams and Martinez would have beaten him. Lara and prime Pacquiao would have given him very tough fights and possibly beaten him. Margarito and Cotto always would have lost to him. Khan is a joke and never would have come close.

Maybe he would have, maybe he wouldn't have. You can debate it from now to forever and not be right or wrong. The only thing wrong, is saying "he woulda beat them all anyway so what's tha point?". I'd have preferred to see the flights.
khans the only one floyd ducked out in the open for everyone to see so he should probably be right at the top of your list because thats the only totally undeniable duck.. all the other ducks listed are just speculation..
as far as whether any one them beat mayweather then probably only khan and pac had a chance because of the speed.. pacquiao probably had the best shot at one time, partly based on the shroud of invincibility he had for a while but now floyd beats him..
I honestly don't think any version of Cotto or Margo would have beaten Floyd.
As for Williams, not to be offensive, he's a great guy and all, but he was criminally overrated. Top 3 P4P? Just thinking about it makes me shake my head. His oh so overwhelming combination of handspeed and volume didn't work at all against the two world class boxer types he fought (Martinez and Lara). Floyd would have beaten him with ease imo.
He'd have beaten them all. Didn't you know Floyd is the fantasy fight p4p all-time champion? Rivalled only by Roy Jones.
Unfortunately for Floyd, none of those avoided fighters are on his real record, and therefore his legacy suffers accordingly.
Margarito, would have been tough but Floyd beats him.
Williams I always thought would have beaten him because of his size and punch output...he would have had like a 7 inch reach and about 5 inches on him and threw a thousand punches a fight.
Martinez had all the skills and power but I still see Floyd winning a decision.
Manny of 2009-2010 gives Floyd hell..drops him, maybe TKO him...now,Floyd wins about 8-4 UD
GGG at 154 demolishes Floyd.
Lara May give him a tough fight but he'll make him come down to 152 and drain the guy so......
Prime Cotto would have been the same result as when they fought. Floyd is too skillful for Cotto. Beats him 8-4 maybe 7-5.
He didn't really "duck" any of those fights. The only guy on the list I think he needed to fight at the time was Cotto, and he set the record straight on that. He SHOULD have fought him in 08, though.
margarito's size and pressure would have been too much for floyd to handle. Floyd might look good for 2-3 rounds, but the fight would not go the distance. Either floyd's corner stops it after 6, floyd himself quits on his stool after 7, or the ref sees enough by 8. (That is assuming marg doesnt KO floyd by then). Floyd simply does not have the power to keep margarito off of him, and it would simply be a matter of 3-4 rounds before marg starts to have his way with floyd.
Over-the-hill Cotto had a very competitive fight with floyd (which is probably why floyd ducked him 5-6 years prior). Prime Cotto and Prime Floyd is a 50-50 fight.
Floyd continues ducking manny to this day, which pretty much says it all. Back in 09-10, i'd have gone with manny by KO, but today's manny still scores a wide UD, 118-110 on floyd. i see it going as similar to the 2nd bradley fight, with floyd being thoroughly outboxed and having to resort to desperation punches, which even if they land, would not stop manny.
Edit: Worthy mention is that floyd also ducked prime mosley. As we saw, the 90 yr old version of mosley had floyd hanging on for dear life, no doubt he would have finished off floyd within 4 if floyd hadnt ducked him.

I actually rate Floyd as a Fighter.... In and around his Weight Classes - He's Competitive with any Fighter in History - AND as far as the Question Goes; Then, YES, He does beat them IMO - But the Far more Important and intellectually Succinct Pondering is: Why Didn't he Face them?
