Briggs has been chasing Wlad for a fight recently, showing up in a few places a couple times and calling Wlad out, trying to create a buzz..
now im wondering if you think about it is Briggs actually a more credible opponent than Leapai? Leapai has no shot, he's way too slow, ponderous, easy to hit and sloppy. Not that Briggs is an extreme improvement but on the surface he appears to be a better fighter than Leapai.
I guess ultimately it doesnt say great things about wlads level of opposition for this fight.. but who would perform better against Wlad -- Briggs or Leapai?
Briggs almost died in his last fight. I would favour lepai to beat him quite easily - though it doesn't say much about alex but more about briggs..
didn't you just hear briggs in his rant? he's fought twice in the last 8 days
No way, Briggs is passed his best, he is just doing this drama for a big pay day so he can retire. He was gassed out by just talking let alone fighting, he started to sweat to death by just talking.
One beat the former mandatory challenger, the other nearly got killed by big bro FOUR YEARS AGO and has come back to beat something like the 400th and 300th best heavyweights on the planet. Although I STRONGLY disagree with this policy of Leapai getting this fight off the back off that 1 win, he still deserves it more than roided-up, shot to bits Briggs. Leapai is still younger than Wlad, and probably has a punchers chance as any heavyweight does. But if Wlad fought Briggs, especially after Vitali's job, most on here would crucify him for picking on shot to bits bums to add 'names' to his resume. This would be like fighting Holyfield at this time.
briggs is insane if he thinks he can still compete. the ol' man could die in the ring. for pete's sake just retire you idiot.
