Broner losing to Maidana had nothing to do with him not listening to Floyd. Broner is young, rich, and dumb and that's why he lost. He underestimated Maidana and overestimated himself. Floyd likes when ppl listen to him.....Broner doesn't. He hint towards Broner not taking his advice on all access, and damn, he seemed perplex that his ex was offering him advice and not taking his. Broner I do think is more game to fight anybody than Mayweather is....and in my opinion, it's likely one of the most endearing aspects of who he is in relation to Mayweather. they are in completely different positions, broner is trying to achieve the fame and success that floyd already has. floyd has been at the top of a game for a long time now, and there isn't a fighter on the planet that doesnt want to fight him for the payday. floyd simply doesn't need to chase down fights, he can just pick and choose, as he can't fight everybody.

They may act like they're not, but my guess it's just a matter of time...the writing is on the wall...their egos won't allow them to NOT have some tension - Broner starts off idolizing Mayweather - Mayweather respect Broner all is good at that point... - Then Broner constantly gets called Mayweather wannabe - Mayweather's ego likely isn't thrilled about being so closely compared to Broner Tension likely begins to build at this point, then Broner makes comments like this... "I don't want to be the first person to give him a loss" I guarantee you Mayweather felt a way about this. Then Broner gets beat by Maidana. Despite Broner CLEARLY wanting to rematch Maidana, Mayweather steals the fight from underneath Broner...likely seeing the opportunity to put Broner in his place in relation to him...vs. allowing his supposed "little brother" the opportunity to avenge his loss. Couple this with Mayweather clowning Broner on All Access...along with Broner's recent comments about Pacquiao... "I ain't scared to fight that MFer" That comment may have been made with Mayweather in mind...and it does sum up a major difference between Mayweather and Broner...Broner I do think is more game to fight anybody than Mayweather is....and in my opinion, it's likely one of the most endearing aspects of who he is in relation to Mayweather. I'm still a big fan of Broner...I want to see him make some adjustments to his game and continue to evolve. But I think he needs to nix his relationship with Floyd. Floyd doesn't have his best interest in mind and he's a fool if he thinks he does. It's a shame Broner's not very good because a fight between those two would have been a huge event down the road. exactly right,, they couldve had him fight lower level dudes still and hype him up. couldve been the biggest mayweather fight since well, canelo i guess lol. sucks now kinda, knowing he never had anything for mayweather that fight wouldve been a waste of time

How can Floyd have tension with someone so massively inferior to him? It wouldn't even make sense. To have real tension you need guys who are in the same class as each other. Broner is two big steps below Floyd, at least. It would be like Rigondeaux having had major tension with Big Bang Casey.
