Brook will struggle with Porter's foot speed and ability to get in and out. Brook is pretty flat-flooted and needs time to set. But he has good power and strings punches together well. Not sure atm, will pick closer to the fight.
Porter will ko Brook
If Kell had good footwork and good ring movement he would have a good chance of winning
but he does not
This is why Porter will ko him
Yes, if Jones had success pinning Brook against the ropes, Porter should have no issue.

Porter is solid, I've been saying it for a while. Only 3 or 4 fighters at 147 can beat him.
I would only pick Pac, Floyd and Thurman to get the better of him with confidence.
There are two ways to go about beating a guy like Porter, one you keep him outside where he will throw wild ass punches and you use that against him. However keeping him outside is easier said than done and you need to keep on the ball all the time because if he starts finding you it can go downhill quick especially if you don't have other forms of defense.
The other would be he is a bully, what do you do you bullies you stand up to them and force them back. Once again easier said than done because Porter is a pretty physically imposing dude for 147, but if you can force him back he is losing the fight. It would help to have good defense to frustrate him and you needs a bit of pop to make him think and keep him honest.
I don't think Brook has the skill set to keep him off for more than 3 or 4 rounds, and I don't think he has the gumption to take the fight to Porter to push him back.
I know in the immediate aftermath of an impressive win, NSB gets carried away - but truly, Porter would wreck Brook.
I'm just interested to see Brook's team will actually take on the fight. After years of going this route to a title, they're now facing a young fighter blossoming and against whom they're clear underdogs.
Well Brook said he was happy Porter beat Alexander because Porter is an easier fight and "made for him" so we'll see.
Exactly I don't see this "talent" either.
How is he talented? I genuinely would like to know.
He's not remotely fast, infact he's pretty damn slow. His reflexes aren't fast, he has solid power at best, he's no monster puncher.
Totally agreed. I expected a knowledgeable boxing fan like you to draw the same conclusion. I'm really sure on this one so would be really shocked with a Brook win.
Btw voted for Brook in the poll by mistake lol

The "Special" moniker is probably one of the most ironic in boxing because he's actually very textbook and does nothing truly spectacular.
I would definitely expect Porter to batter Brook. Never seen anything special in Kell Brook. Forget being skilled (which he isn't), he isn't even very talented imo.
