It seems Lara v Canelo never made sense in the two years Erislandy was calling out Alvarez to many Canelo fans.
Now Canelo makes an offer and these same fans are letting loose vaginal juices in excitement?? How was it any different when Lara was calling Alvarez out???
Please reffer to Dstyleboxing in the ytbc, keeping it real:

Chepo? Is that you?
You are the Pom Pom waving Canela cheerleader :lol1:

Well sorry but that's naive to think that way.
Let me ask you this, if boxing was as much a sport as it is a business, then why do we see the types of decisions we just saw with Danny Garcia vs Mauricio Herrera?
Herrera's only chance of winning, was killing Danny Garcia in the ring. Garcia could have come in and not thrown a punch and would have won that fight.
It was set up for him to win, so he could then fight Mayweather later on. It's all nothing but a business set up to make the most money.
Thinking any way else is just being naive of the sport and what goes on behind the scenes.
This is the typical mentally of the hardcore fans of a star. A fighter calls them out and they will discredit him to the end. If the star picks him they will praise his ability and say how of a danger they are.
Canelo/Lara is the fight that should get made at the present time since Kirkland has been so un available
It's a business and a sport. There's a balance between the two. Abandon the logic of one half and the other half dies as well. It's not business above all. If it was it would look like WWE. Since it doesn't we must assume that the rationale of competitive sport still has power and can't be wholly dismissed with the 'boxing is a business' line.

Canelo fans are the worst.
They justify everything he does, "didn't make weight bc it wasnt a title fight"
No way. Floyd fluffers are the worst by far.
'He di'int make weight cuh he can affoad da fine y'all' Cunts.:nonono:
I'm pretty sure that everybody here knows that boxing is a business, what with the way everybody here counts their favorite fighter's PPV numbers and fight winnings every other week.
It's just only a business decision when the decision to wait for a fight to build more comes from their favorite fighter(s).
If you dislike the guy? Well then he's a f*cking cowardly ducker, right?
I don't think they know in the least. They detach the PPV numbers with what it takes to actually make a fight. I would bet you 95% of posters here have no idea what a promoter, manager and trainer do. They get their jobs mixed up CONSTANTLY and think one does the job of the other.
Let alone what a cable channel like HBO or Showtime have to do to even stage the actual fight. They think Mayweather says "I want to fight _________" and Showtime is like "ok masta, sounds good masta"
Doesn't work like that. They invest and want a return.

Dr. Rumack, it's a business above all else, I know because I'm in it. You don't make fights because they are good, you make fights because they sell and will make people tons of money.
It's the reason Chavez Jr makes more money than GGG and he isn't half the fighter. Boxing is a popularity contest and if you get the perfect mix of great talent AND charisma (like DLH), then you have the golden goose.
Canelo is the Golden Goose right now, and it's the reason people hate him, or love him. It's not his fault that he's been propped up, it's on the fans and managers. Everyone wants a piece of him, it's because he will make them the most $$$. The same with Mayweather, everyone from 168 to 130 wants to fight him, because it's like winning the lottery.
It's a business first, and sport way second.
Bringer it's because of what I repeat in this place over and over that boxing fans don't seem to get. Fights need a fan base to happen. The reason this fight didn't happen before was because the Canelo people were looking for bigger paying fights.
Mayweather, El Perro, Cotto, Martinez etc....
So to all of a sudden take a fight with Lara, who two years ago only hardcore boxing fans knew who he was, would have been dumb business sense. Idiots don't get that and call out "ducking", or "he's scared".
Boxing at the end of the day is a business. You have to do what makes the most money. Canelo is a cash cow and you need to bleed his career for every penny you will get, because in boxing, tomorrow is never guaranteed.

Precisely.
Boxing fans are notoriously drama-oriented. Sometimes NSB reminds me of a f*cking hair salon. Nothing but a bunch of females in this place pissing and moaning over anything and everything - They're unhappy when the fight doesn't get signed when they want it to, then it does get signed and, instead of being happy, they still b*tch about it.

What? I dont care about any of that. This fight sucks and will be boring.
I wasn't targeting you in particular, I was simply using your quote to put forth my response.
Seems to me that all of this b*tching from Lara fans/Canelo critics is because the fight could've happened six months ago, but because it didn't, Canelo sucks.
Or something.
No matter what happens ya'll b1tch and moan why??? because ya'll simply do not like certain fighters and never will no matter who they fight ya'll will have an excuse and discredit it. ya'll are a sorry group of idiots who must not be happy with your own life so you come on here and post negative sh1t day in and day out.
LOL coming from a guy who red karma's with multiple accounts. What a sad life YOU lead. I wonder how the mods feel about you using multiple accounts???
I have posted one negative mayweather thing on here, and three days later you and your alt accounts try to turn me red. Yeah but every one else lives a sorry life. What a clown you are.
Ok so he wasnt at the press conference and everyone on here wasnt posting how scared Canelo was of Lara..ok i gotcha
No, you and everyone else act like Lara started calling him out then with the Ishe fight already signed. That is not what happened. Lara started calling him out much earlier.
But please dont let the facts get in the way of the agenda here. Cute Mayweather turned you into such a big Canelo fan.
So let me get this straight...
Lara fans are pissed because Alvarez decided to fight Angulo in his first fight back post-Mayweather instead of Erislandy?
You do realize that that decision only pushed back the potential Alvarez/Lara fight by like 6 months, right?
Guys in this thread are acting like Canelo stalled for years or some sh*t.

I love boxing and I certainly enjoy many aspects of talking to other boxing fans about a wide range of topics, but you have to put up with some miserable ass people.
I have never seen such strange concerns anywhere else in my life, I get that boxing is messed up and I enjoy the sport personally because I focus on the better aspects but I can understand a certain amount of *****ing and moaning.
But when you are actually getting a fight that really means something between guys (especially guys really trying to establish themselves) at the top of a division that is when everyone should be happy.
No, that is not when he called him out. Lara starting calling him out after the Trout fight. Watch and learn Larry, instead of giving red karma.
