Seriously he made another future ATG look like a complete bum In his PRIME!!!wtf!!! competently unprecedented, it's never been done in the history of boxing!.
:bottle::bottle::bottle:
Sounds like that's canelos fault and not Floyd. I bet your a pacquiao fan that was completely okay with him fighting a drained cotto and de la hoya.
floyd has fought for superwelter championship in 2007 and 2012. if you've been a superwelterweight champion 7 years prior i cannot really understand why you need a catchweight. except to look for whatever advantage you can get.
pacquiao fought in 4 different weight classes in 5 fights from 2008- 2009 including the cotto fight. superfeather 4 fight prior to cotto, lightweight 3 fight prior, lightwelter 1 fight prior. the catchweight is acceptable because it even the odds.
dela hoya is predicted to win 3:1 in boxingscene poll. the weight-in is a circus and dela hoya felt the back slash during the weight-in of fighting a superfeather. dela hoya is 147 at weight in and 146 during the fight. dela hoya got pride and decided not to add weight.
Canelo was drained. There is nothing you can say that can change that.
He couldn't even make 154 for the Angulo fight.
Pretty much everybody can shine against a drained, physically weak fighter.
You have to remember Canelo pulled a Khan before the Floyd fight. He trained for months for Floyd. And to be honest he didn't fade late in the Floyd fight like he had done in the past. Nobody over looks Floyd going into a fight. In fact you have to assume who ever his opponent is will probably have their toughest training camp they have ever had.
The weight made no difference!
Frankly anybody who expected this fight to be competitive was out of their damn mind.
Floyd beats his ass out at any weight, any time, any place and even with C.J Ross as a special guest referee
Floyd came overweight against Marquez because he can't afford to lose those extra 2 lbs and rather pay the cheap penalty. Now that he weight drained Canelo suddenly losing those 2 extra lbs weight will make no difference. LMAO

floyd kinda ****ed himself with asking for those two pounds but if it was such a struggle canelo should've said **** off and put floyd on blast.
lol a 23 year old kid who has foguht @ 147 lbs a couple years back was "Drained
too funny.
floyd did everything in that fight. fought off the front, back foot. pocket, on the outside.
piston like jab that SR brought back. sat down on his punches in spots and gave it to canela. was a brilliant performance.
Would have been a better fight if Canelo wasn't drained to ****.
He couldn't even make 154 his last fight.
And didn't alvarez outweigh Floyd by almost 15 pounds on fight night. yeah he was definitely drained.

Doesn't matter, even if he was 200 pounds that night. There was no way he could've beaten floyd.
It doesn't matter. The victory was great but it will always be tainted no matter how you spin it.
Good win for Floyd, to be sure. However, it's not nearly the feat that you are making it out to be.
Canelo was picked because he was perfect for Floyd stylistically, and because he was desperate enough to agree to fight at a catchweight.
Canelo is right handed, isn't a pressure fighter, and is very selective with his punches, which plays right into Floyd's hand.
Once Canelo fought Trout, and basically lost, Floyd's team knew he'd be perfect for Floyd.
Canelo will have problems with anyone who has good movement and fast hands. He'd better steer clear of Lara.
It was a brilliant performance from Floyd but it's true that the 152 catchweight definitely caused Canelo problems, slowed him down and impacted his own performance. If it hadn't been for that catchweight I'd say that was Floyd's best performance ever, I was amazed.
2 pounds seems like a small amount but for someone of Canelo's age, with a growing physique, it would have definitely worked against him. He wouldn't have beaten Floyd but I think it could have been a closer fight if it was at 154. The last time Canelo weighed in at 152 was against Matthew Hatton 3 years ago so he had done it before but his body would have naturally grown since that fight because he was still only 20 years old at the time.
The weight made no difference!

:lol1::lol1: canelo is not even a natural 154 pounder :lol1:Excuses :lol1:
You're right. He is a 160 pounder at this point and I expect him to go up very soon.
Would have been a better fight if Canelo wasn't drained to ****.
