At 135, who did Rios beat to earn the title "monster".
He had a nice run there with wins over an undefeated Anthony Peterson, Murray, couple other solid fighters,,, never quite reached the top in the division but had more success in that division than at 140 or 147
Depends on the weight. If he had somehow managed to squeeze down to 135 and stay there like he was able to earlier in his career I would say he is a top tier LW because of his stamina, power, size, chin, pressure etc.
All his top tier advantages fall by the way side when he moves up in weight.
Wow you people make it seem like rios is a complete and utter bum. Rios gives danny, matthysse, ruslan etc all tough fights at 140.
I don't think he does. Rios is a contender but for top-tier ? No I think not, as I've stated before. He's limited in his abilities to compete with top tier...ESPECIALLY at 147.
Rios is a BUM
If Rios, a 31-2 professional boxer with 23 KOs, is a bum, then what the f**k is your scrub ass? Your claim to fame is taking a picture with Adrien Broner, lmfao
Just a name. He's not a top fighter. He's a basic brawler who doesn't know how to adjust mid-fight. Provodnokov is superior in almost every facet except for workrate and he's improved that of late.
At 135 he was a monster . It looked like David v Goliath and he would bully people , at 147 he is top 15 at best
At 135, who did Rios beat to earn the title "monster".
Just a name, isn't a top level world class fighter but will act as a gate keeper for the world class level
I think he can still beat decent fighters just none of the true championship level guys
abril beat him, so he is below abril , that much i do know. very good inside fighter though and has a lot of heart, but if you can stay outside, you can beat him. easier said than done, anthony peterson couldnt do it.
