Is Maidana a cherry pick for Pacman? What kind of fight will it be?

Yes absolutely; maidana is absolute cherry pick for him or mayweather; same thing with the leonard's or the durans of these magnificent bloody sport; --mythical pugilists or ATG's who have already surpassed elite status. Not surprisingly, these are the type of fighters that makes pacquiao look so good in particular; because, you are entering his area of expertise, which is offense. --In this era, nobody is as complete in the offensive department as this midget. "He doesn't only carry the heavy weapons with him but he is bringing those pesky little guided missiles as well." If he is faced with an offensive, slow-plodding type no matter how relentless that fighter is. You are gonna lose; not just merely lose, but pounded to rubble and if you decide to put on that shield; you'll gonna look just like it; --all night long.

This is a dangerous fight for Pacquiao at this stage of his career. I'd love to see the fight and I'm sure Maidana wants to stretch out his 15 minutes of fame in the boxing world so he'll be up for it.

Anyone Floyd and Pac fight are cherry picks, according to fans of both.

Pac loves to fight guys who come forward. Maidana is a guy who likes to trade shots at mid range, so that he can catch an opponent stepping back with his overhand right or looping left hook. Pac would use his foot speed to move in and out, side step and create angles. Maidana would get a serious beating, same or worse than Rios in my opinion, depending on how much he smothers/ shells up. (Speaking of which , Maidana vs Rios would be fun to watch, as long as it lasts)

Manny is a brave warrior who fights for his fans and not money. This is a great PPV fight because it promises us all action for the fans. It has a horrible undercard because it proves Pacman is such a draw. The thing I don't understand is... Manny-Maidana=Epic fight, Great PPV, etc... Floyd-Maidana=Cherry pick???? I think Maidana is a live dog for anybody, I just don't get how he could be so good for one top guy and garbage for the next...

If Maidana wasn't fighting Floyd PAC fans would be all over this dude. They tried to justify the Rios fight and Maidanas a way better fighter than that bum.

I think Pacman is way too fast for Maidana. He has fast feet so a smart fight for him is in and out before Maidana gets off and its an easy night for pacman, BUT Garcia is an excellent edition to Maidana's boxing game and I think he'll be timing him and will be right in his face and on his a$$. and even though pac has fast feet, i'm not too impressed with his head movement. it's kinda the same bobbing around motion and I think he can be timed. So I really think it would be interesting to see.

Maidana is a tough out for Pac.. not a cherry pick. But he's not a cherry pick for Floyd either. Out of all the guys realistically available that made the most financial sense, Maidana is the best man and he will press Floyd for 12 hard rounds. He's not coming just to collect a check.. he's coming to win.

Maidana fights nothing like rios. He has better head movement, more power, and more range to his game.. along with his selection of shots being completely different.

I think it will be similar to the Rios fight Slow plodder who can bang, but will get outboxed in every sense of the word by Pacquiao
