AMIR KHAN will speak to British boxing legend Ricky Hatton ahead of his return to the ring on May 3 against Luis Collazo in Las Vegas.
Hatton went the full 12 rounds against American Collazo in 2007 - winning by a unanimous decision - on his way to a super fight with Floyd Mayweather which he ultimately went onto lose.

He has everything to lose and pretty much nothing to gain from a collazo fight.
Good observation,
I cant think of a good reason why he pick to fight collazo, he could have fought porter for a belt. A very high risky fight for khan. He should have dictated the terms if it was porter coz he is the big draw.
Hatton threw more, landed more and scored a KD. :lol1:
Williams also thew more and landed more against Lara, I guess he deserved the decision then? And the KD was BS.
khan can't change his style no matter what. his main problem is he can't handle consistent pressure. collazo has the power to shut khan's pie hole once and for all.

A lot of good that's gonna do. Hatton got his ass kicked by Collazo even though he got the win. This is Khan's very first fight at 147 and Collazo has been at 147 long enough to have fought Ricky Hatton.
Advice on how to lose?
see what i mean when talking about khan's intelligence?? :lol1: :lol1:
Lol advice on how Hatton lost the fight stop it con
Wtf is hatton gonna tell him??
Aye mate...just before ya fight...ya do a few lines of blow...have a few beers and you'll be alright! This way ya won't feel the punches when they land cause you'll have lock jaw
You learn from failure (hatton's performance) not success.

This ain't exactly DLH giving Canelo the "blueprint" to beat Floyd, but its in the neighborhhod. Oh wait, I forgot, this is boxingscene. Floyd got a gift against Oscar:lol1:
Maybe Ricky will school him on how to take shots to the grill all night...get rocked...look bad & walk away w/a gift decision. smh. Strange thing about the situation tho is that the Collazo fight was put on to set up the Hatton/Maywether showdown all the way back then. I believe it was Ricky's first fight at Welter as well.....oh the irony.
A bit silly, seeing as Callazo will approach Khan in a completely different manner. Depending on the odds, I will put £50 on Khan getting stopped; it always seems to happen when he overlooks his opponents.
