If KHAN WINS, Will he get enough credit?

If khan beats collazo will he get enough credit, everybody was saying that he will get kod by collazo. If he beats collazo will he get the respect he deserves or the chinny jokes will still continue. KHAN BY TKO in 9th or 10th. Khan wins = he MIGHT get floyd - but their will be another few bigger names in the reckoning. Depends on the figures. Khan loses = he fights Kell Brook for more money than the floyd fight. So... that's my theory.

Did i say that it will erase the Garcia KO? No and i think Khan should get it on with either Garcia or Brook (if he has a belt) if he wins. I think that rematch will make it too sweet not for Khan to get Floyd. I thought he could have gotten the decision over Hatton and Berto also but Hatton was six years ago and Berto... well it was Berto. Whether you feel it is very important that Khan gets the Mayweather fight or if I feel Collazo is not the type of opponent to convince me he deserves the fight doesn't matter. It is going to happen anyways if Khan is victorious. Well know boxing is not about merit. Few fighters present challenge and bring a big name. This is the biggest Maidana will ever be so it was perfect for Floyd to pick him given the momentum and ofcourse "style" I agree he should get another big win after Collazo. I wanted Khan to get Floyd, cuz come on its floyd, but him not getting it is only better for him.

no haters dont see past hate there are people on this forum who say khans win over maidana shouldnt count as it was so long ago but again, you talk about that fight but when someone says something about prescott you guys say is in the past, that was a diferent amir, that he was weight drained etc, etc, etc. and with garcia, it was a lucky punch, amir was beating danny easy before the KO etc, etc, etc.

With that said Collazo is good enough to beat Khan and I wouldn't be surprised if he drops him as well. The thing here is that Collazo is actually GOOD but not considered a top WW, therefore the victory won't do much for Khan or his reputation. Thurman would be a good matchup... Same with Porter if Shawna wasn't such a coward. It's his first fight at WW tho, so collazo is a good fight for him to test himself there and he wont fight a guy in thurman who everybody is ducking for his first WW fight lol. Thats way too dangerous for him. Shaw porter would be a good fight also more competitive than collazo's fight. After this fight if he wins he should fight porter or another champion who has a belt and then fight garcia for a rematch at WW.

If Khan wins it does little for his career and if he loses his career would be pretty much over. This fight can do more damage than good. Thats actually very true, If you saw his fight with diaz even though he was getting pressured he wasn't really hitting back, he would go to the pivot to the side a little. this is going to be a good test for him. to be honest I think Collazo is a little overhyped if you see his fights because he is more of a boxer than a puncher but this is good for khan people thinking collazo is more of a power puncher. Well, they say you're only as good as your last fight. And now Luis is the new Mike Tyson at 147 after what he did to Ortiz. Lol IMO He's a good boxer, solid punching power but he's a heavy hitter now to some. Khan needs to make a serious statement though in this fight if he wants the Floyd fight.

I'd give Khan credit. It's a solid win after being away from the ring for so long. I still don't think that merits a Floyd fight, even though that's probably what will happen if they both win
