ask jeff lacy...the bum. i remember the post fight interview where lacy said he wanted a rematch but he only said that because he was suffering head trauma from calzaghe's power. oh yeah and remember when everyone pretended that beating lacy was great even though lacy was a glorified club fighter? maybe calzaghe hit them and they were suffering from head trauma because he's not even as accomplished as andre berto. lacy barely beat omar sheika before he fought calzaghe. lacy barely beat manfredo after calzaghe. seems like the same crude one dimensional fighter to me. aka calzaghe ruined him! :birthday:

I don't dislike or like Calzhage, but how the hell can anyone watch his fights? When the dude throws his little feminine cat fight looking slaps, it looks like he is trying to swat a fly out of the air in order to start whispering in his opponents ear. I mean my god It's worse the Devon Alexander, Mr Punch Puller. The one that always made me laugh is, his punching technique looks like he walked into some spider webs. As for the question at hand it would be a tough battle but Calzaghe has the volume to get the job done against defenseless weak opposition.

Lacy is the result of an accumulation of punches. Were talking bout power here, not the ability to slap your opponent repeatedly.

Why does everyone keep repeating to ask Jeff Lazy. Has he not showed us by now what he was made of? His name on your resume is not exactly a trophy piece.

The guy's punching power decreased as he got older, and his resume isn't as good as it could have been, but he's a guy who produces a polemic. He's either ATG, or a complete no hoper who couldn't punch as hard as Paulie. don't make us post the early calzaghe vids to debunk this myth. he never ever had any punching power. he dropped an old eubank who was off balance and suddenly he's the biggest puncher in the world lol. punching power=being able to hurt your opponent when you hit his head and he just couldn't do that except in the rarest circumstances aka almost never

Calzaghe messed up everyone he fought. Why people don't think he could punch, I don't know, go ask Kessler, Lacy, Jones and BHOP how hard he punched because he either busted them to pieces or had them faking low blows and injuries to catch their breath because he was that much better than they were. Lol, all you have to do is watch his highlights to see why. All his damage is superficial accumulation. Obviously I'm exaggerating is he would likely barely make it through the wet paper bag on the first shot, but still. He aint no home run hitter.
