A couple weeks ago on Friday Night Fights, Teddy Atlas was critical of 19-year-old welterweight prospect Dusty Hernandez-Harrison's level of opposition.
Buddy Harrison, who is Dusty's father and trainer, took exception to that. Below is Buddy's reaction, and in a separate video, Dusty also responds, though he's a bit nicer about it.
I don't think teddy said anything about Harrison that wasnt true. Harrison Hernandez sucks, it is what it is. I'd rather hear someone speak the truth than listen to the commentators on foxsports1 try to hype up their ****ty prospects.
That isn't the point, the pops was sayng Atlas is a coward two face he will kiss your ass one minute and than when you are not around talk crap like he did to Phil ivey the poker player.
Atlas has mental problems, he is a good commentator but the guy seems bipolar or something he switches, he also hates on guys who are on top and always praises the old school boxers, he hated Oscar, Hopkins, Klitschkos, Tyson, Foreman, Pacquiao, you name it.
When Tyson was man enough to make amends and try to squash it Teddy didn't even respond well, its like he doesn't wan to forgive, Tyson even said Teddy still hates his guts even after that.
Teddy has some mental problems for sure, didn't his brohter their grandma or something?
Teddy creeps me out you can tell he isn't all there up top.
Watch this dude is weird

Atlas contradicts himself a lot. And while I agree about the playing cards compared to fighting thing, to be all friendly and **** with Ivey and act fake then go on air and completely bash and belittle him made me uncomfortable as a viewer. Was very cringe worthy.
I like when Atlas calls out some obvious bs within the sport, but he clearly does it to extremely at times and other times when its not even necessary or true.
atlas likes to be critical about mismatches and fighter's opposition except when it's his own fighter.
then he puts his own fighter, elvis, in with a bunch of mismatched opponents.
well, at least he isn't trying to murder anyone, like he planned to with donny lalonde
Atlas is a blowhard. Like Richardson and Hunter he loves the sound of his own voice. At the same time however they are probably three of the most interesting guys to listen to in the entire sport.
