Since Khan wouldn't be the main event I will give him a break, Collazo would be a solid and LIVE opponent for Khan remember Khan was dropped and hurt a few times in his last fight. Collazo has more Power than Diaz and if he hurts Khan he is going to FINISH HIM.
But does that mean Collazo would think deserve a shot a Mayweather if both win that night? Because Collazo would basically be coming off of wins over Victor Ortiz and Amir Khan lol...JUST SAYING!
It's exactly what GBP is doing. If Khan wins, they have the opponent they need for May 2015. If Collazo wins, they have the opponent they need for September 2014.
The interesting thing to me is the fact Mayweather has no real options for September 2014. If Khan wins, they could move the fight to November 2014 if anything.
Who else can Mayweather fight in September if Khan beats Collazo? The only opponent I can think of is Erislandy Lara since this dude is getting press now for calling out everyone.
My understanding is Khan cannot fight Floyd next anyway due to religious reasons.
Malignaggi is fighting Porter?
Yep, this is pretty much true. Ramadan will be finishing roughly in August so it would not leave enough time for Khan to train for a Floyd fight.
Khan will probably fight in May and then again in December and look for the Floyd fight in May 2014.
Lol such a ridiculous tweet by this dbag. He's suing GBP, why is he pretending like all is well and he would fight on a GB fight card if Khan would just say yes. No one is afaid of Guerrero, he is such a tool. Fight obviously wasn't made because GB wants nothing to do with him.
EXACTLY this ^^^^^^^^^
Beating Collazo will not give you Floyd, its safe to say Khan is next for Mayweather so long as he has a solid win, I thought Guerrero was the right opponent, I suggest Devon Alexander too for Khan, even though he lost to Porter.

If Khan-Collazo does happen, then Broner's option is Guerrero or a rematch with Malignaggi.

True. But a win over Ortiz in 2014 isn't what it was in 2011 or even 2012 when Lopez stopped him. And a win over Khan in 2014 definitely isn't what it was in 2011 or 2012 when Danny stopped him.

Tried to get out of his contract didn't he, based on something, can't remember what, something along the lines of not treating him properly, or something.
Sh1t knows. Didn't he try to break contract cos he wanted to sign with TR and get the Pacquiao fight? I don't care about Guerrero enough to know the full story.
Guess he won't be fighting this year.
I'm honestly okay with Khan vs Collazo, i'm more than okay with it. Did you see Khan's last fight and Collazo's last fight? You are as good as your last fight and Collazo knocked out Ortiz in 2 rounds while Khan barely won with 114-113, 115-113 and one losing scorecard against a journeyman who is old and worst than Collazo, who BTW knocked Khan down.
It was a unanimous decision. Since when is Julio Diaz a "journeyman". He's a two time world champion. Past his best and above his best weight? Yeah probably. Although he arguably beat Porter in his previous fight. "Journeyman"....really?
to khan hes more credible lol, what a wanker
Yes a former 147 champion coming off of a win against a credible opponent makes him a wanker. But fighting the second coming of Ray Leonard Kell Brook wouldve saved him face instead right?

Khan vs Collazo is as legit as it gets for Khan, even as a headliner, as an undercard for Floyd's fight? That is a gift to fans basically. Collazo is a legit threat IMO, and I have no complaints about that fight.
Considering the whole situation between Guerrero and GBP, i didn't read to much it his tweet. No way a fight with Khan would be on the cards for any time soon.
