Off the top of my head:
1) Amir Khan winning his first world title without a question. Realization of a dream. Always knew he was the truth.
2) Manny Pacquiao getting Knocked out. Not that i wish it on someone, but Marquez deserved the 3rd one without an argument and finally he won "on paper". He won the 2nd one too.
3) Naseem Hamed getting exposed.
Share????
You ever miss a ko at a fight you were at? Man I still remember when I missed Ben Tackie knocking out Teddy Reid and there were no tv's in the place. I was like ****kkkk.
It usually happens to me on undercards. I just hate missing ko's.
yeah but i always caught a replay lol
maidana whooping broner
orlando salido beating juanma twice
jmm vs pac 1-4, great ending too.
First one had me jumping. Dude was 6-5-1 at one point in his career so was very happy for him.
Randall vs Chavez Sr I, a total unknown does a great performance
Chiquita Gonzalez vs Michael Carbajal I, the fight that everybody wanted at the time and it was better than anybody would had imagined
Gatti vs Ward I
The above is exactly what I was referring to earlier regarding clueless newbs. If you even had a shred of knowledge of that era, you'd know that Vazquez was a title holder and top rated featherweight when Hamed fought him. It was supposed to be a unification fight, but Vazquez was stripped just weeks prior to that fight.
Continuing to get "big fights" means absolutely nothing. Zab Judah keeps getting title opportunities that aren't afforded to other fighters because promoters view him as easy pickings and nothing else. Again, even attempting to use that apart of your argument demonstrates how utterly clueless you are.
It shows that the person wasnt just at the twilight of their career, which means a lot actually. Judah continuing to stay relevant means more than Vasquez going on to fight scrubs after because again it shows he was done.
Stop rambling and go spill your tears elsewhere, you delicate little flower. There was nothing about Amir's accomplishments, nor his actual ability that ever suggested he was among the absolute best fighters in the sport.
His ability led him to an Olympic Silver Medal and becoming a world champion in one of the most competitive of divisions. He is up there with the best why else would he be considered for Mayweather? Oh sadly for you he still is. Between Khan and Maidana the fact remains that Maidana is Khan's leftovers. Cry all you want over round 10.
You actually imply Khan is ***** which is pretty sad.
Yes, a failure and a two weight paper title holder. Soto, at the very least, beat a one of the longstanding top fighters of the division in Luisito Espinosa (again, if you had any clue I wouldn't be having to point this out to you) and f*ck knows why you keep referencing Augie Sanchez; Hamed's beaten better and more accomplished professionals than him, who was nothing more than a last option.)
Paulie beat a catch weight of Juan Diaz's choice on his conditions. Now im guessing he is a bum too. Plus he beat Broner for people with functional eyes, but again Broner too is a bum. Right?
I've not argued for or against Hamed being an elite fighter, I merely pointed out the obvious: he was a better fighter than Khan ever was. You're the silly bastard alluding to Amir previously being elite level.
A$$ crack i have also never said Khan is better than Hamed. This thread was about your 3 top moments and Hamed being exposed as "not being elite" was my fav yet your butt hurt azz had to cry over here trashing Khan and calling me a troll. Wtf did that even have to do with this thread? Dumb Azz
So im a Khan fan and according to you i cant criticize other fighters, because my guy has been KOed and Hamed hadn't. Thats like telling Nicky Piper to shut up if he were criticizing a world champion because he never won a world title. Khan is a warrior who comes back. Calzaghe not so much and Hamed couldnt come back from a loss.
Im simply stating my reasons for why Hamed isnt elite given you got butt hurt over me calling him "exposed". You ofcourse though i meant "exposed as a bum". Also im only saying reasons which make me wanna support Khan over someone like Hamed and why you calling him a bum is ridiculous. Certainly not implying he is better resume wise.
But people like you go on and imply as if Khan is a bum with no ability and accomplishments, which says a lot about you than Khan. But of course im the troll in this discussion.
Not even going to bother make an issue of the irony of a supposed Khan fight deriding any other fighter for "ballerina dancing" - that's a considerably better compliment than someone who's lateral movement often resembles a drunk deer on ice.
Seriously grow up.
No, but it means he's still a hell of a lot better than Khan, who apparently could have remained undefeated like Calzaghe had he stunk around fighting that sort of opposition.....despite the fact that he clobbered inside of a minute by a guy who's never amounted to much more than a fringe contender and who's been comprehensively undressed on a number of occasions (though not by Khan himself.)
Donaire and Hopkins lost to people below fringe contender level earlier in their careers.
Calzaghe would have never been undefeated A) reffing B) Glen Johnson C) Prime Jones.
Like Froch said "if you retire undefeated that means you have not fought everyone you were suppose to" something like that. Certainly applies in Joe's case.
Amir Khan can never be elite (again), which he will, but he comes back from defeats and that is what a real fighter is. Hamed didnt and Calzaghe would never have been undefeated.
Glad to know your life revolves around my posts chump.
Yes, because a quick browse through your thread starting history equates to my life revolving around your posts. :lol1:
Pathetic. Vasquez was a cup cake defense at that point not because of his age because he was done and to prove it what did he do after that title shot? Zab Judah was IBF 140lbs champion so there is a difference and even after losing to Khan he kept getting big fights meaning he wasnt done.

After beating Judah he was at an all time high. If he wasnt jobbed vs Peterson it wouldve been Mayweather next. Ofcourse to chumps like you Khan lost that fight against a roided Peterson and im not even gonna bring up the judging.
Stop rambling and go spill your tears elsewhere, you delicate little flower. There was nothing about Amir's accomplishments, nor his actual ability that ever suggested he was among the absolute best fighters in the sport.
Khan beat Judah to become undisputed champion holding both WBA and IBF belts you clueless muppet. Bradley (WBO) ran with his tail between his legs and Morales was just there with the WBC version. So not only holding more than one belt makes you undisputed unless the other person holds the other two, but the situation at the time proves it.
Are you really this thick? It doesn't take but a few seconds to type "undisputed" into a google search bar and find out it's actual definition, but even you can't manage that. :lol1:
So Paulie is a failure hmmmm, so whom did Cesar Soto and Augie Sanchez beat? Hamed's two HOF cementing Stateside wins.
Im laughing at the idea of people like you thinking Naseem Hamed is elite based on the illusion of ballerina dancing and KOing has beens. Hamed found out dancing lessons end when you fight genuine fighters and its good he retired for his own sake.

Calzaghe retiring undefeated doesnt mean a thing because he wouldnt have fought Jones with 30 ounce gloves attached to 10 feet poles in Jones' prime.

Awesome dude! That's crazy haha
I copied and pasted it but like I said tomorrow I'll get screen caps. This is the first message he sent Me
Pay close attention
Now that we got your face, where your from and what you are stating, might I suggest that you retract your statement and inform the bloggers that Vic DID NOT tell you anything that you stated, that in fact you made this up and that you met him like a normal fan and took those pics.Otherwise legal actions can and may be sought out against you.
Haha! That's crazy dude. So He actually posts on here? OR just reads?
I'm on my phone right now but tomorrow when I get on my computer I'll look in my inbox
and print screen the messages
1.Watching the Berto Ortiz fight live on TV.
2.Then going to a a bar in Lawrence Kansas and running into Ortiz. Took a pic with him and shot the sh1t. He told me they just signed the Mayweather fight maybe 2 hours ago. He told me all the details, purse split etc. I made a thread on NSB. no one believed me. Lenard Ellerbe sent me private messages telling me to take my thread down because Ortiz wasn't supposed to tell anyone until Mayweather announced the fight. He threatened to take legal action and everything. Telling me that it was going to be my fault if Mayweather canceled the fight:rofl:

Two actually, squire.
Glad to know your life revolves around my posts chump.
No, that's like you giving Khan credit for beating Zab Judah, which is exactly what you do later on in your post. This irony is obviously lost on you.
Pathetic. Vasquez was a cup cake defense at that point not because of his age because he was done and to prove it what did he do after that title shot? Zab Judah was IBF 140lbs champion so there is a difference and even after losing to Khan he kept getting big fights meaning he wasnt done.
:lol1: @ "at this point", as if there was ever a point in Amir's career where he could have legitimately been called an "elite fighter."
You come out with absolute bollocks like that, and you wonder why I question the legitimacy of your support of Khan?
After beating Judah he was at an all time high. If he wasnt jobbed vs Peterson it wouldve been Mayweather next. Ofcourse to chumps like you Khan lost that fight against a roided Peterson and im not even gonna bring up the judging.
Khan was never undisputed champion, you thick prat. And as far as being "relevant enough" to be considered for a fight with Mayweather: everybody trashed the very idea of that fight and laughed at the notion of Khan being a credible opponent for that fight - so much so that they were willing to accept someone like Marcos Maidana as being more deserving of the fight.

I'm laughing at the very idea of you discrediting other people's resumes while bigging up a proven failure like Paulie Malignaggi as being somebody worth bragging over. Laughing even harder at the notion of Malignaggi becoming a "world champ" based off of him fighting some Ukranian stiff who was the absolute definition of a paper champion. :lol1:
So Paulie is a failure hmmmm, so whom did Cesar Soto and Augie Sanchez beat? Hamed's two HOF cementing Stateside wins.

Give Khan the reffing Calzaghe had and he would still be undefeated.:lol1:
Calzaghe retiring undefeated doesnt mean a thing because he wouldnt have fought Jones with 30 ounce gloves attached to 10 feet poles in Jones' prime.
Amir is done. Hasn't beaten a relevant contender in three years, doesn't have a f*cking clue on what sort of boxer he actually is anymore, and inevitably is going to get starched again.
We'll have to wait and see.
You see Khan is a "real" fighter even though he is chinny but he doesnt give up EVER. He turned down Brook's 5 mil so he can fight a high risk low reward fight which gets him Mayweather fight quicker. But ofcourse he was ducking brook right?
Im happy backing someone like Khan who gets up after being put down again and again and still wants the best than someone who became ATG based on "cute" matchmaking.
Kotelnik was an Olympic Silver Medalist and had solid fundamentals. Khan didnt win a "vacant" belt vs another contender, but took it off of a champ.
Khan vs Kotelnik is one helluva win. Kotelnik was absolutely jobbed by Alexander
Ive made ONE thread attacking kell brook's credentials
Two actually, squire.
Rrrrright so Steve Robinson was a better title holder than Wilfredo Vasquez of mid 90s?????? Funny how Naseem Hamed never fought Wilfredo Vasquez back in 96 when he also held a belt yet waited for him to reach pension age.
Thats like me giving Khan credit for beating a 35 year old Barrera.
No, that's like you giving Khan credit for beating Zab Judah, which is exactly what you do later on in your post. This irony is obviously lost on you.
Yes Augie Sanchez and Cesar Soto were quite the world beaters. The thing is Hamed is a very good fighter, but not elite (neither is Khan at this point btw). So when i say expose i should have been more specific to say exposed as not being elite.
:lol1: @ "at this point", as if there was ever a point in Amir's career where he could have legitimately been called an "elite fighter."
You come out with absolute bollocks like that, and you wonder why I question the legitimacy of your support of Khan?
Khan also never hid there milking a belt for 20 defenses against the local bus drivers.
Also that solidified the fact he is vulnerable and he came back from that loss to become undisputed champ and relevant enough to be considered for a Mayweather fight. How far did David Price get with his chin?

Malignaggi became a world champ in another division after losing to khan and is going to fight in an another world title fight so im not sure how thats funny. Mclcoskey was a stay busy fight infact all Calzaghe fought were Mccloskeys. You forgot Kotelnik, Judah and Maidana. He fought Peterson in his backyard despite being a champ and got jobbed. Even if you consider the reffing being good what about the roid thing?
Khan's career isnt finished, but he is a guy who gets put down, but gets straight back up. Calzaghe seldom took risks besides Kessler and even with Lacy he pulled out repeatedly cuz he wasnt sure he would win. Even with a wank opposition he had those "joke" stoppages helping him out there is a whole play list on youtube of those.
I'm laughing at the very idea of you discrediting other people's resumes while bigging up a proven failure like Paulie Malignaggi as being somebody worth bragging over.
