I see annoying man is back with another incredibly stupid thread trashing Pacquiao with lies. You have just over 50 posts and every one of them is trashing Pacquiao in dumb ass threads you started. You joined boxing scene to try to jam your insane, hateful opinions of Pacquiao down everybody's throat. You should give it up retard. Pacquiao has a few haters like you already but the big majority on here like and respect Pacquiao as a good person and a great fighter. An idiot like you won't change their mind with stupid lies. Pacquiao and Marquez will both be voted into the Hall of Fame and they deserve it.
What does that make Pacquaio, a Journeyman?. To top it off he was Ko'd by him, how much do you rekon this will affect his legacy?
You are a floydiot alt so your opinion is not worth more than my shit. Are you done robbing convenience stores or collecting food coupons?

Well JMM isn't average, he is p4p top 5 so look at it like that.
Pac was only knocked cos he gave him 4 tries to do it, and he was pacs style nightmare.
Pac made Bradley look like a journeyman and many other very good fighters look pedestrian so does that not count?
Floyd lost to Castillo and Castillo hasn't a great resume as well. How much do you think that will effect Floyds legacy, and not fighting Pac and fighting guys who lost to Pacs sparring partner rather than fighting Sergio and Bradley like Pac is doing now.?
I think KTFO 6, woke Manny up to the reality that he can't rely that heavily on his physical attributes as much. He has to rely on his boxing IQ and experience more so. PAC lazily went in for the punch with a little feint. It was a sign of fatigue late in the round. A younger PAC would never get caught like that. Slower reaction times sign of aging. Even the 1st knockdown, PAC in his younger days would see the punch coming and avoid it.
That's why we saw a different PAC against Rios.
It's a shame JMM never fought Morales. It just isn't right how they never fought.
PAC-JMM-Barrera-Morales ...4 of the best fighters EVER in the lower divisions.
But JMM-Morales never happened.
JMM was no longer in his prime at JMM/pac-2, he was 34, and had lost his legs, pac was in his tho
but thats probably when they were closer to their respective primes.
I agree with this. Most athletes are past their prime when they reach their 30s. It's the truth. Testosterone levels, peak physical performance are at its highest in the early to mid twenties. Between 27-32 years of age, experience and wits come into play. So you can still dominate the competition and still in effect be in your prime. JMM has dominated because of his ring smarts and boxing IQ. That's why he can still compete in his late 30s and now 40's.
In a sport like boxing, it's very rare to have world class boxers after 32. Floyd, JMM, and PAC are rare breeds.
Yea, JMM-PAC 2 was when both were closest to their primes.
I have the series at 2 wins PAC, 1 for JMM, and 1 draw.
At best, I have it 2 wins for each ...2-2.
But JMM has the most definitive, memorable win. However, both were past their prime at the time of PAC-JMM 4.
PAC-JMM 2 is the fight to best show this matchup. They were both pretty PRIME at the time. Really close fight with high level boxing. I gave the fight to PAC due to the knockdown. The rounds were close.
PAC was the champ, scored the knockdown.. Decision goes to PAC.

The 2nd and 3rd fights were close with again maybe JMM edging it in the rounds won department but each time the Knock downs were the deciding factor.
Fair decisions and JMM doing a lot of whining.
The 4th fight was something completely different.. Pac was actually dominating JMM like he had never before.. But JMM sparked him twice and scored an emphatic stoppage.. Was JMM laying a trap? He sure was getting the crap beat out of him leading up to that punch..

Jmm wasnt kd in the third fight, am I wrong? In fact I remember thinking jmm won that one. I agree with the first fight and the second eh, but jmm definitely won the 3rd. And I love how everyone tries to grow roses out of **** with that 4th fight...
I remember the bscene p4p list... and I paraphrase.. " manny had appeared to find some answers to the riddle of jmm... right was quick the left was sudden... and then bam out of nowhere a miracle punch!..
lol!
lolz calling JMM pretty average is just wrong, he should be in everyones 100 ATGs...
imho regarding the first 3 fights arguablly PAC won them all albeit close contest, only the 4th's result can not be argued as Manny got KTFOED but you have to admit even the 4th was a close contest till the KO...
Some people are retarded..
JMM is not a journeyman average fighter.
In the first fight.. JMM actually won more rounds than PAC.. This leads some people to think JMM "won" this fight because winning more rounds usually means you win the fight.. But then most guys aren't crawling out of a 3 knock down 1st round to win more rounds. But the 10 point must system is what it is and JMM didn't come all the way back from that 1st round hole.

Marquez is a pretty average fighter(resume wise), yet he beat Pacquaio 4 /4 of times. | BoxingScene Community
