From what I read his trainers basically said they did not take the weight as seriously because it wasn't a title fight.
There was a time when fighters would often come in over weight limits for non-title fights, then again, this was a bout contracted at 154 pounds so it is highly unprofessional of the young Canelo, who was the picture of professionalism throughout the Mayweather debacle. Learning a few too many tricks from the crafty Mayweather? I certainly hope not.
Ok so you're only taking bits and pieces out of his interviews that you choose to believe and discarding everything else he says you choose not to believe.
Gotcha
And to answer your question, yes, I would expect him to at least imply or insinuate that he doesn't feel his best at least after the fight if not leading up to it. He doesn't have to come right out and say he feels like schit, but at least imply that and let everyone else fill in the blank like you're attempting to do now.
:lol1::lol1:
:dunce:
If we're going to quote Canelo, in this same interview, he says "he'll be ready come Sep 14".
There was also an interview before the fight where Canelo says the weight didn't affect him and he feels very strong.
Would you expect him to say that he'd be weakened and drained like hell? Would you Genious?
152 was Canelo's idea.
Since you know so much about the situation..tell me this....Was there a rehydration clause???????????
If not why not?
Why would Floyd not drain him where it mattered....... IN THE RING...it doesn't make sense.
Floyd's team knew they had the upper hand. Floyd's side asked for a lower weight so Canelo's side thought that if they wouldn't accept the 152 CW then Floyd would say "No fight"... you know, like Floyd did to Manny every time Manny wouldn't accept Floyd's demands.
Canelo's team brought up the point. Ellerbe confirmed that they took advantage of the situation.
152 was Canelo's idea.

The bold and underlined has outlined why you don't know what you're talking about. I suggest you go educate yourself somewhat on weight and weight classes.
Yes he did mon.
If Floyd wanted to hurt Canelo he would have imposed a fight night weight...a weight Canelo would have been drained to make.
He didnt do that....stop crying and hating.
No he didn't.

Now STFU.
He weighted 153 the fight before against Trout. I'm sure he was alright at 152
153.5 not 153. Canelo didn't look that great in the Trout fight either.
Against Foyd, Making the weight doesn't mean that Canelo was OK. For Canelo to bring it up as "the hardest thing" that he had to do during training camp means that he WASN'T alright.
What happened at this weigh-in kinda proves that Canelo even has trouble making 154 let alone 152!
I could have sworn Canelo's camp was the party that asked for the 152 weight. I know that his camp is trying to convince people that they didn't, but at one point didn't they also directly say that they'd go down to 150 to fight him?
This isn't the boxingscene article right here?

They fought in 2013. That qoute was from 2010.
Yes he did mon.

Crying and hating?? All I said was there was a reason Floyd wanted 152. Which he did. That's about all I said. You're the one posting stuff years old, acting like it applied after Floyd fought Cotto at full weight and stopped believing in catchweights until it was time to fight Canelo.
Stop lying.
A quick trip to youtube will prove to all you're a liar.
Was there a rehydration clause???
Did Canelo have to weigh below a certain weight on FIGHT NIGHT..?
No and no...
Youtube clip here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5WwUsZVu70
Notable moments:
Canelo cannot stand up while Floyd bounced around. He sits meet and weak on his stol.
As Canelo steps on the scale, Ellerbe bends down to closely inspect Canelo's package. :lol1:
I like Floyd... His fans, who usually aren't real fans of the sport, just don't know what they're talking about when they defend everything he does. He's not a saint and he used canelo mentioning being willing to come down in weight, years prior, as an excuse to drain him.
Drained on Friday, drained on Saturday, either way he was drained for the fight.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt; maybe you just don't read much.

Canelo did not offer 152 so stop it.

Canelo made the 152 offer.
It takes much hatred to ignore facts.
Was there a rehydration clause?
NOPE
If Floyd wanted to hurt canelo he would have fu.cked with his RING WEIGHT....but he didn't.
After the weigh-in Alvarez was free to do what he does best.....cram loads of food down his gob.
Canelo did not offer 152 so stop it.
If I remember right, the Floyd camp gave them a choice: 152 or a rehydration clause. Canelo chose the catchweight.
Whatever it was that led to the agreement, it doesn't change the fact that Floyd didn't fight him at his best.
lmao where do you ppl come up with this ****?
Stop lying.

Make the trip then.
Canelo offered the 152 weight.
It was his idea..
Some will do anything for a truckload of cash. The point is that Canelo was severely drained whether he suggested the limit or not. Same for Glass Jawson coming down for Ward.
The bottom line is that the weight devalues the wins for Floyd and Andre. The names look good on paper and thats it.
