with Mayweather fighting Maidana
do you really see Broner-Maidana 2 going through? especially if Maidana loses easily vs Floyd like predicted?
**Broner-Khan would be a great option, but it isn't the only fight available. **Aside from Maidana, if the immediate future for Broner is 140, why not just fight at 140 outright, instead of fighting Khan at a catchweight?
They don't want to drain Khan - it's just that Khan was looking desperate last week.
It's understandable - he got dumped and wanted some rebound p*ssy ASAP. He wasn't seeing clearly, and even the fat chicks were looking good to him
But..he was the one calling for this fight.
Those comments might have given up negotiating leverage for this matchup and now the CW is a legit idea for Broner to push for. They only wanted to stay at 147 for the Maidana rematch.
Because if he somehow beats Khan, nobody is going to convinced until he fights Marcos again -so he might as well ask for the CW here.

This is a lie. The only thing that Floyd confirmed is that both Khan and Broner will be fighting on his undercard. He hopes that they will be pitted against each other, but there is no guarantee. Apparently, Stephen Espinoza is opposed to the idea.
Man I hope this fight happens. I'm a broner fan but I don't think he has a chance. He is way too slow for Khan and he can't muscle him around like he can guys at 135lbs. I saw broner in real life he is small.
They want to drain Khan. Its obvious his body required him to go to 147. Then again hes a warrior and wont try to get out of the fight like Broner tried with Maidana and still humiliate him.
A.B= A$$ Beat, Ambulance Boy and most of all Average Boxer
Khan has been looking very gaunt for the last 2 years, he's most def outgrown 140
the fight needs to be at 147
but i am sure Broner wud prefer 144, his trainer has indicated that he doesnt belong at 147...
Lmao didnt you say broner "fat ass" will struggle with weight? Make up your mind. How is the weight going to hurt both fighters and help broner at the same time?
When a fighter is getting KD often at a lower weight division, it often shows us that he is starting to get too "big" for that weight. When Khan moved up to 140lb for the first time and was fresh at the weight, he took punches from opponents such as Maidana and Judah. I really believe 147lb will do him a world of good, as long as he stays away from a certain Keith Thurman.

That would be quite the fight. Like them or hate them, AB and Khan are two of the most interesting/exciting fighters in the game.
No they're not they're 2 of the least skilled big names ever.
I really like a fight between Khan and Broner. I think it's an even interesting matchup that could go either way. Khan's weak chin puts him at risk against the hard punching Broner. Khan throws two or three times as many punches as Broner and he doesn't get knocked out he will probably win. Since I don't like either of these giant mouthed braggers I will be happy if either one of them suffers a humiliating defeat. I guess this will be one time I hope Khan wins.
I hope it's true but Floyd is not a very reliable source of information. He often lies or is just wrong. I will believe it for sure when I read it on boxing scene top headlines.
I don't think he's 'outgrowing' 140 lbs. I believe the reason he's moving up to 147 lbs is because of how easy he was getting knock downed or KO'd at 140. So his team figures, if he moves up in weight, he'll have more punch resistance. Won't be as easy to knock down.
But they'll find out the hard way that it doesn't matter. :lol1:

That interview is edited. The real video of mayweather he says that both are fighting on his undercard but not neccessarily fighting each other. Thats why he goes on to say that they should fight each other. But I dont want it at a catchweight because even at 143 vs Diaz he wasn't healthy or strong so it has to be 147 or nothing.
Me too.
If Broner would like to move down to 140lb, then do so but don't ask Khan to come in at the catch weight. Having seen Khan throughout his entire career, I firmly believe he is outgrowing 140lb and hasn't fought there in a year or so. I'd like to see the Bolton star move up to the full 147lb limit, with or without Broner.
Then again, this fight is most likely going to happen because Showtime will only make the type of return they want on their Mayweather deal, if each one of his PPVs do big money and this entire night can bomb if the undercard is not packed.
