Rios' losses to Alvarado and Pacquiao are not that bad, he can pull this one but Provodnikov is definitely a huge favorite here.

I think Matthysse-Provodnikov would be better. Maybe, but that fight isn't workable due to GBP-HBO issues. Rios-Provo is potential fight of the year.

Great interview all around. The Bobster looking sharp!! Rios-Provodnikov would be a modern era Gatti-Ward, without a doubt. I drool at the thought of this matchup... it will be a bloody, violent war and that's exactly what I love and enjoy. I would also love Golovkin-Chavez. JR has the balls all of these other sissies do not (Ward / Martinez). It will be a war... but there is nobody in boxing right now who can beat Golovkin or come close to, Jr will get beat up badly during his valiant effort.

Would be a good fight, the victory wouldn't mean much for Provodnikov but an exciting fight like that would help his cause (not to mention HBO going ape**** over the fight comparing to Gatti-Ward).

Poor Rios career will be over !!! Punch drunk (I mean more than now) as soon as the fight ends with him looking up!!The fight won't do Rios' brain cells any good but he loves a brawl and Provo will give him one. I hope it happens and I agree Provo will stop him.
