Porter takes this guy into deep waters, Thurman panics when he gets licked something which is very seeable in his actions last night wild swinging and poor defence. I'm still not sold on this guy, and its due to his self hyped belief.

They are purposely keeping him away from younger, prime competition. If he fights Porter, I feel we will see Thurman hurt, dropped and suffer the first loss of his career. He is good but the hype he receives is way overblown.

He is one of the better welterweights but that's it. Very good but nothing special.

He hasn't exactly looked unbeatable and he's only fighting decent fighters. There's no reason to think a lot of better welterweights couldn't beat him.

Thurman is HIGHLY over rated. He has power and good offense, thats about it. He is not very good defensively, he is not particularly intelligent, he isn't the fastest, or the most technical. He's a solid fighter, but for the most part I am very underwhelmed by him. anyone with power here is looked at like a god

Mini haye? I haven't seen a whole lot of him but who ever has the blue print for him it'll involve body work I think if you nullify he explosiveness you can beat him. I'd like to see him fight Provo but that can't happen of course

Floyd, Bardley, Manny, and Porter imo can beat him. I don't see this most complete fighter ever and going undefeated against legit comp just yet. When he fights one of them or anyone close to them it'll be easier to get a better picture.

I think he is one of the 4 best welterweights in the world. I am not sure he can beat the other 3 best welterweights who in my opinion are Mayweather, Pacquiao and Bradley. I think his power is the difference and he beats Bradley on points. Mayweather and Pacquiao are great fighters and fast as lightning. I think they could outpoint Thurman.
