I like Danny Garcia, but he will be out boxed by any decent mover

You'd think Garcia would get some hype some time but instead the better he does and th more he does the less hype he gets. It doesn't make any sense.

I'm not even going to read all of the post on this one. Danny is the type of fighter that is just like B-hop. Everyone wants to hate on him because he beat their favorite fighter but in the end everyone will be a fan. Swift isn't world class, but he uses what he has to his advantage. Give him more time and we'll see how he unfolds. But to put him against Floyd or Manny this year and it would be a year or two to soon.

I disagree with those who say he would beat Pacquiao. He is a good champion but I think Pacquiao is superior to him in just about every way. I think Garcia would beat Rios in a close war. There is no way in hell I can see Garcia completely dominating Rios and winning every round and hardly getting hit while landing 4 or 5 clean punches in a row without getting hit in return. That is what Pacquiao did to Rios. Pacquiao is about the same size as Danny but that is where the similarity ends. Pacquiao is faster, harder to hit, a harder puncher and he throws more punches. The Marquez KO of Pacquiao was a perfect punch that would have knocked Danny out just as cold. If Pacquiao can take Cotto's punches he can stay on his feet from anything Danny can hit him with. Well I think you've got Ray Charles syndrome if you don't think he's improved since the morales or Theophane fight (when he was 20/21!!) I've been a critic of him in the past but I gotta give him credit, he makes a living shutting up his critics.. I'm done betting against swift, May and Pac are the only guys that I would be certain he'd get beat by! He wins, can't fault that. However someone said khan is a mover. Khan has no chin and was not moving. His game plan was to hurt Danny... Wrong move, Danny has a beard. Matthyse was feared but also a power puncher. Wrong style... Plus before he was injured the fight was close. Zab and Alexander is matthyse level. Zab looked worse vs Paulie than Danny. A shot Morales in the first made him look wild, and he still is. Maybe I will retract destroyed but I really feel all 3 win by 10 rounds. If he felt khan was fast, he will feel the speed of Manny and Floyd. Bradley is really skilled and smart when he chooses. Honestly I don't see Bradley being hit by those wide shots of he boxes

He fights at 140 so he only has to fight other 140 pounders.He is a good champion and I don't think he will be an easy win for anybody. He beat Matthysse and that is not an easy thing to do.

Mayweather hasn't destroyed anyone since Sharmba Mitchell in 2005. He'd win by UD, but there would be no destruction taking place. Hatton, Mosley, Marquez are close as we'll ever get for the current Floyd destroying some one. Pacquiao seems to destroy way past prime fighters like De La Hoya and Margarito. Otherwise I would say he really beat Cotto up but that's about it. He didn't even destroy Clottey, Mosley, Bradley, Marquez, Rios, he's on the decline. He's not exactly destroying any one anymore. Bradley is another guy who I haven't really seen destroying prime fighters. He beat Peterson clearly, other than that he only really "destroyed" an old, blown up Casamayor. All 3 could beat him, but I don't know about destroying.

I agree that sort of fight would probably be tough for Garcia especially if they have range on him. Still I would say it would take someone much more than decent to get the job done, and the guy I have seen used are much beyond decent. Also I think Bradley would be a good fight, to me that would be Garcia's limit but that is a pretty high limit.

Morales took the steam out of manny in the middle rounds by committing to the body with straight rights in the first two rounds. I suggest a rewatch. morales is a beast with his straight right, seriously man you are overrating garcia in every category, you know how many fights morales has changed with that straight right to the body? garcia's right isn't anywhere near the level of morales or marquez's, not anywhere near, like at all and is garcia even active enough to make them count? morales won that fight by what a point or two?(seriously can't remember) it's not giving him the fight, pacquiao is also not draining Can you recall Garcia consistently taking straight lefts downstairs in any particular fight? Garcia's consistent right hand to the body would f*** with manny. He hasn't fought anyone with the ability to consistently put a right hand downstairs since Morales. There's a reason for that. Plus manny's legs are becoming shot. He leg issues come up frequently. The earliest a Garcia fight could happen is likely the latter half of 2015. I imagine manny's legs to be completely gone by then. With his weakened legs he can't do all that pivoting to take advantage of Garcia's flat feet. Garcia would counter the hell out of him. Garcia is smart enough to know that incorporating some movement would befuddle manny. he showed the ability versus Lucas, who happens to be better than manny at cutting a ring off Lastly, Garcia's right hand comes from a variety of angles. I think your under appreciating his ability to time boxers with that vicious left hook that left Erik Morales spinning like a top, left Khan falling like a hack sawed redwood. And left Mathyse battered and broken. The kid is tough as nails and has all the tools to adapt mid fight. Yeah an old azz morales. Erik would of beat the ***** out of him prime vs prime

Swift is a good sound fighter And like others say he does just enough to win. Nothing great, he has great fundamentals, and a good student of the game. with that being said,I can tell you from what I see in him, he can beat alot of the contenders, but I have a fighter in the division that can take him to the limit, and actually beat him. That fighter is(and don't laugh at me guys)Lamont Peterson. Styles makes fights. LP has the style, the power, the trench style than can beat Swift. The constant pressure, the building of momentum, the stamina. Swift tends to let guys come back in the fight, like the 1st Morales fight, & the Judah fight. Peterson is a slow starter, but gathers steam in the mid to late rounds. You have to jump on Peterson early,(Matthyese did) Danny is also a slow starter.(Khan did) This could be a great fight. Hope GBP could make this happen. I'm taking all bets that LP could pull this victory out! :boxing::boxing:
