is there a certain fighter you've gone against time and time again and they have kept proving you wrong?
Danny Garcia; Credit to this guy, you keep proving me wrong. I bet on him to beat Khan but I never thought he would (took him purely as a cover bet). I thought Lucas would decapitate him though I thought he looked very sharp in his media day workout again somehow he got the win. He never looks great or even very good to me, I still say hes not p4p skillwise and isn't that good but he finds a way too win. Always winning but never impressing.
Ricky Burns; What a mediocre fighter this guy is. I had no hesitation picking Katsidis over him - Props, best performance of the guys career for me, boxed beautifully that night. Quietly confident Mitchell would beat him, that didn't go to plan either. You're not getting me this time you're going to easily beat Gonzalez :dead:
Then I picked him to take a close but fairly comfortably decision against Beltran, he got stomped & a gift draw.
I can never predict this guys fights. I have no doubt Crawford is going to beat him but with my poor history of predicting Burns fight outcomes I am hesitant. Nothing goes as expected with this guy.
F.U Ricky Burns, T-Craw will beat your ass! :boxing:
Definitely Carl Froch.
I was a Fan when he was still Domestic level and saying he'd 'Smoke Joe Calzaghe's Boots.'
The Guy has been Underdog time and time again and always pulled through.
HAHAHAHAHAHA froch smoke joe...that is th funniest sh1t iv'e heard in years....joe would made froch look so sh1t froch would retire from embarrassment ...it would be 10x worse than lacey
Danny Garcia is the first name that comes to my mind. He looked less than great against an ancient Morales so I thought there was no way he'd beat Kan. He got busted up by Khan so I didn't think he'd beat Lucas. I was wrong. Props to Swift
Danny Garcia. I was hating on him like no tomorrow and hoping Matthysse would expose him. He made me a fan after knocking down and beating Lucas decisively.
Broner,
At first I was kinda split down the line as to what would happen in the Maidana fight. I think it was a day before the fight I rewatched some of Broner's prior fights (Escobedo, DeMarco etc.) and I came to the conclusion that Broner was going to dismantle and feed Maidana some WSHH-like right hands and unload on him, leading to a stoppage. Boy was I wrong.
I wouldn't say fighters, but two fights that I should have slapped myself for predicting was Pavlik-Hopkins and Margarito-Cintron 2.
Matter of fact, let me do that now. Just typing that out pisses me off at myself.
You really thought so? Wow. I thought Broner was a good fighter, but I never bought into the hype at all. Once he started moving up in weight, I knew it was just a matter of time. The crash came even sooner than expected.
jokes aside i knew movers would trouble him after seeing the paulie fight. i never would've thought it would be maidana to hand him his first loss thats for sure
adrien broner has proved me wrong, I thought he was going to be the next big thing but turns out his career has came to a screeching halt.

hands Down Danny Garcia. Don't Know How Many Barbershop Arguments I'Ve Been In Completely Dissing This Guy. Not To Mention How Many Times I'v Lost Betting Against him. He's Proved Me Wrong Every Time And I Am A Fan Now
Danny Garcia
Has been the underdog even when he was champion and managed to pull his wins impressively and has a strong chin
Kell Brook
Every year is Kell Brooks year but he never will face a fighter with a pulse let alone a name.
Danny Garcia proved 99% of people wrong twice, so he should be #1 on everyone's list.
Other than him, it's Canelo for me. I thought he was a manufactured prospect that would lose to his fist opponent with a pulse. He totally won me over with his win over Trout and credible effort against Floyd. He may or may not be the best 154 pounder (except Floyd ofc), but he is definitely a world class fighter - something I never thought he would become.
Chisora & for a few years both monte barrett & ray austin. Several times those 2 were brought in to be opponents & they either got a draw or an upset...
For me it's Floyd
I thought he would fight PAC in a heart beat but when it came time to make the fight he wanted birth certificate, semen, drug testing, no PPV share, can only train where he wants, health now come first, setting Ali as example, losing his urge to fight, having amnesia.
Carl Froch, I always picked against him but in the end I gave up and realised that whilst he looks sh1t and is athletically limited, he's a massive overachiever due to his mentality and conditioning.
Danny Garcia is still sh1t. Maybe he will be the next one I have to change tune on, but I don't think so.
Gamboa and Lara.
I thought Gamboa was a smart guy and would have been at the top right now. But he is an idiot and a ducker and is always getting into teenager trouble and seems to have a cashew for a brain.
And Lara , because at first I thought he was as good or close to Rigo but he is not.
