The trainer thing probably makes this a no go right now but people are saying they could see Floyd going after Cotto if he were to win the MW title. Could you see Pac doing it too? That would be a nice stamp on his legacy and its easier to do with the Top Rank thing
Yeah, Manny on dem roids.

floyd is a little bigger than pacquiao, not a lot. it's pretty obvious, just look with your eyeballs. you guys are turning this into a complex equation when you can just look at the two guys and see, floyd's a little bigger.
end thread
in terms of weight I still remember Floyd fighting Zab at WW and coming into the ring on fight not at 146 pounds for a 147 pound fight. Around the same exact time Pac was fighting at 130 and coming into the ring on fight night at 145 pounds. They were just 1 pound apart even though Floyd was fighting 3 division higher

Floyd and Pacquiao are the same size. Floyd has a wider upper body, and Pac has bigger and stronger legs, so it evens out. It's like saying Paul Williams is bigger than Mike Tyson just because he's taller than him.
people are saying that Pac is too small or Pac said he wouldnt go such & such high so this fight is a no go but all that stuff was under totally different circumstances. None of that talk was either for a guy he's already beat or for a MW title. Its either been neither or one of the other but never both at the same time.
He has said NO to going higher in weight, no to a MW title, and he has also said NO to fighting Cotto higher but Im sure he would truly conisder it if the MW title was a steak. He wont fight Sergio or anyone else at MW and he wont fight Cotto over 150 for no damn reason but if you put those 2 things together and make it Cotto for the legit MW title then I think he would truly consider it, especially if Uncle Bob throws some money at him and tries to make it a huge historic type event.
Pac also said most of that stuff before losing to Pac and while he still had more time left in his career. Guys take more risk after losing because its the only way to get back to the top and alot of guys take risk when they know they only have a couple of fights left because they feel a loss doesnt hurt them that much. I think he would consider it
floyd is a midget too so don't let him fool you, i've seen him in person......floyd was in the amatuers at 16 and pac started his career at 16 so of course pac would have campaigned in more weight classes. floyd is no pwill or hearns at ww, pac and floyd both weigh in at 150 or less on fight night.
Midget is a relative term. To Abner Mares Calderon is a midget. It's one of Floyd's own nicknames for Pac, "the midget". So you know how he feels about any size advantage.
But look, even Marquez weighs in 150 fight night these days, and Floyd looked way bigger in the ring. So Juan and Pac bulked up as far as possible, kinda like Duran almost matching Hagler's weight fight night. Floyd has a lot more room to bulk up, if the will is there.

pac could win it. floyd is too much of a coward to attempt it. i don't know why people even think floyd would go to MW. he isn't brave enough for that. a warrior like pacman would probably do it. floyd is a coward.
And it's also documented that Pacquiao literally ingest over 7,000 calories per day when he's training for a WW bout.
You don't seriously believe that?
Not even The Rock :lol1:
wrong
that's precisely what shows the size difference
if Pac wanted to, he could still make 140
he doesn't do that because of the money at the 147
135 is out for Pac, but he could easily make 140
Floyd couldn't make 140 if his life depended on it
hence, Floyd is slightly bigger, by about a division

And then Pac took on Marquez at the full 147lbs.
You are confusing height and reach with size. It doesn't matter what Floyd can or can't make, the truth is Floyd and Pac weigh the same on fight night. That's what matters. If they were to square of right now, there would be no weight advantage, because they exactly the same. You are talking about 2009, 5 years ago, I am talking about 2014 and how Pacquiao should fight Canelo at 152 and, Lara, Cotto and Martinez at 154+ just as much as Floyd. Stop with the protection sh*t.

I ask the same of you, because I don't ever remember Floyd weighing 130 on fight, and I don't even see where I said that.
Floyd was a very light SFW, 133-15 was his fight night weight at SFW for the most part.
I said at 130-135, he weighed in the 130s on fight night. Not that he weighed 130.
I know. I'm just asking for a source. Do you have one?
Not saying I don't believe you, but can you give me a source of Floyd weighing 130 on fight night?
I genuinely want to see this.

Floyd was a very light SFW, 133-135 was his fight night weight at SFW for the most part. And about 138-139 a his 135 weight if I remember correctly. I'd have to go through his Castillo fights and his other LW fights. But for SFW for sure he gained 3-4lbs on fight night. At 130 Pac was weighing 142-143lbs. 12-13lb rehydration.
I said at 130-135, he weighed in the 130s on fight night. Not that he weighed 130.
The midget (as Floyd calls him) doesn't need excuses, he's campaigning in his 7th division, without asking for CWs, unlike 2x, lineal, unified, reigning SWW champ in his 5th lol

look at them
no need for in depth analysis, just fucking look at them
if you can't see that Floyd's the bigger of the 2, you're a fool
Pac took JMM 3 at 145 a couple yrs ago
again, Floyd couldn't make 144 in 09
if you can't clearly see Floyd's bigger, don't know what to tell you
And then Pac took on Marquez at the full 147lbs.

ok let's talk about pac...
pac is a warrior and will fight anybody initime and iniwere. he backs up what he says and more than willing to give the fans what they want to see. he used to get laid with a lot of women (only h0mos wouldn't like that) and loves to sing even though he sounds like a sick parrot.
overall, pac is a warrior, loves women, respectful to his fans, and a true atg... in other words, pac's the total opposite of floyd the fraud!
I am trying to find the timeline of Pac and Floyd that shows their weights from 16 years old to recent fights. Showing that they are exactly the same size, and Pacquiao was a much bigger SFW and LW than Floyd.
The evidence is there, but every body is still stuck on the "Pac is a small guy" thing, which is true, but then they say Floyd is bigger, when he's currently the same size as Pacquiao.
In a fantasy fight of 130 Floyd vs 130 Pac, Pac would outweigh Floyd by at least 8lbs on fight night, same at 135. But whatever, they want to act like Pac is a little Smurf and Floyd is Andre The Giant.

Kev provides statistical evidence, you counter with an unsupported personal opinion.
Fail.

taller by like an inch and a half, big deal......and height and lenth doesn't mean anything..... alexis aguello was like 5'11 and was a shell of himself when he went over lw. all i hear are excuses for pac.
