Maidana's only shot is to land a lucky haymaker in between floyd throwing his own shots in the first two rds when floyd is still getting warm and put him down for the full count. Other than that he poses very little threat. In fact I am of the opinion that floyd will stop maidana in rd 8, 9 or 10. P a c t a r d s are just going wild about his chances because they need someone to claim floyd is ducking. Floyd fans are only jumping up and down about how much they dislike the khan matchup because pacfans view it as a cherry pick versus maidana, so they need to save some face. Maidana was out boxed by Khan and Alexander relatively easy. If Khan didn't have such a shaky chin, Chino wouldn't have even been shut out 10-2ish.

Please edit your post and start writing some truth. The fact is that he beat someone (Broner) that Paulie could have beat if he just had any kind of power but Paulie doesn't unfortunately. Maidana brings more than just power. He brings and educated jab, and awkward angles. He brings relentless pressure with enough defense to cause problems, the biggest factors are, can Maidana close the distance consistently, and can he cut off the ring? Floyd will engage with him, I refuse to believe Floyd jumps on a bicycle no matter how deep the waters may get in any of his remaining fights, he promised to make fights more exciting, and I believe him about it. When Floyd said that he fights the best did you believe him? When Floyd said Manny you just need to take a test and the fight is on, did you believe him? I can go on but lets face it Floyd will go into this fight just like every other fight. Floyd will not take risks. If something happens, it will more than likely be because either Maidana over-committed and left himself wide open or gassed out. If Floyd sees risk, he will do the Baldo dance around the ring and call it a night.

nope...he is tailor made to make Floyd look good Maidana follows you around, he doesnt cut off the ring. He has a decent jab and works well throwing combos to the head but he doesnt move his head much. he will be there to be hit with Money's jab, his patented counter right hand between the wide shots and combos. When Chino goes to the body his head is a sitting duck for the uppercuts and hooks Maidana will make a fight of it, but as the fight wears on he will get outclassed or even stopped late. Lets not forget although tough he has been outboxed by Alexander and dropped by body shots several times. He will get bruised up over the course of the fight possibly dropped and stopped
