I was just playin earlier I don't give a f**k about undercard bullshiz
I'm a casual
I only know who Floyd Weather, Manny Packow, and the guy from Subway is
don't even know how I ended up at this site to be honest smh
:haha:
Just when I thought Pac tard "logic" couldn't sink any lower.
They are pathetic...for months they used the undercard excuse for Floyds sells..now that Arum has told them he doesn't give a damn about undercards all the sudden now they do not matter and no 1 cares about them...which one is it?
if it's a floyd snoozefest, yes under cards are important. but if it's pac fighting on the main event under cards are not that important!

Yes, but casuals don't and they're the majority of PPv buys
Thats total bs, they just assume they going to get sht undercards because the main fight is the main event and they don't now any better. They think its normal.
Obviously I enjoy good undercards, but I've never thought "wow what an undercard, I better buy that PPV". A good undercard just reinforces that I need to watch it.
depending who's fighting on the main event. if it's a floyd snoozefest, yes under cards are important. but if it's pac fighting on the main event under cards are not that important!
It dont matter whos on the under cards. I like when unknowns are on there more. They fight to get their name out there and get recognition. So they fight with all their heart.
No. I'd rather not watch 'unknowns' on PPV events because I can watch them on any regular broadcast. On PPV, I think there should be high quality match up in terms of competitiveness and ranking. Title fights on the undercard are great. Talented and hyped prospects, entertainers are great too.
It just happens, some friends bought Pacquiao-Mosley and they looked at me like I was crazy when I said I wanted to catch the under card too which had a lot of good names. Same with Cotto-Pacquiao and Mayweather-Cotto. Most casuals just buy it at the last minute or they just buy it and use the under card as a time to buy pizza and drinks
Pacquiao vs Mosley was boring. You miss the undercard and watch the boring main event. What happens then? I don't think any casual would buy PPV again after that.
Why and how could a casual pay for $60-70 for a fight? I don't deny that they do buy it. It simply amazes me that average sportfan would actually pay that much to watch it. It's more like the hardcore boxing fans would bang out that much for such fight.

If Top Rank only cares about main event, they might as well scrap the whole undercard and get to the point what everyone is waiting for. Saves money and boredom.
I have been buying both Mayweathers and Pacquiao's PPV fight for the past few years. Last year I totally felt I got my money's worth on both of the Mayweather's PPV because of the great undercards.
After reading Bob Arum comment on undercards, I came to realise that I've been buying Pacquiao PPV because of the main event. I will not purchase further Pacquiao PPV until that old fart puts up good undercards.
