It's not easy....the loneliest place in the world...I boxed two years never had an amatuer fight but plenty of ring wars and sparring matches...who else has or sanctioned am or pro fights

I'm 19, been boxing since I was 15. I've had over 15 fights and sparred a bunch. I'm on a bit of a break though, right now. I've been dropped once, by a liver shot. Go figure. Also dropped a handful of guys. Always fun.

Sparred many a round..been dropped..dropped others.:boxing::boxing::boxing:
I've boxed on and off for about 7 years or so fought amateur 6 bouts sparred countless times with guys 132 lbs to 230 lbs depending on my weight i fought at 141 mostly but a couple at 152 i weigh 190 now coming down now. I do it for fun not looking to start a career seeing as I am almost 30 now. I've had a lot of fun but it can also be stressful. I've enjoyed the experience I've had being able to spar with guys at different weights and levels of experience (from first timers to pros) I've learned a lot and still have a lot to learn
I have been in the ams for 4-5 years or so, fighting in the commonwealth games this year! light flyweight and current scottish champion!
Good luck in the Commonwealth Games pal.
Sparred in the gym many times, also with guys who are now pros. Never pursued it any further than that. Sometimes wish I did when I see some of the heavyweights these days.
I boxed in the army and as an amateur,, record of 18-2,, worked as a trainer, plus still spar as much as i can,, I probably have a few thousand rounds in sparring
