Silence = admittance of cowardice?
Spin it all you want Floyd lovers. This is a super fight that is hold hostage by Floyd. This is the biggest pay check Floyd can ever get in his life time. Wether he agrees to donate it to charity or not. PAC is just waiting for him to reply. Which is odd.. This ranting biiatch loves talking smack even on Xmas day and now silence lol
If you know Floyd he is called money.so if Floyd says he is a prize fighter and no way in hell he will donate it to charity. I'm sure the next PAC response will be fight me coward I'll still give mine to charity.
That's said, the ball is in Floyd's court. Fight or flight. Checkmate.
I can imagine if he goes for khan. Media nightmare for Floyd for ducking PAC. His next fight will be a flap for being a pussay. People now know who is the coward and putting up road blocks. Floyd is in a hole he can't get out unless he mans up.
I didnt think Floyd took that 'challenge' seriously. It sounded more as a joke or something
What a shiddy world we live in where a multimillionaire proposing to another multimillionaire that they donate to charities around the world immediately must be some sort of a joke.:firedevil
it's possibly part of a long game set up to try and completely check mate floyd. My guess would be they are hoping for the following response from floyd.
'Fuk you manny, you can give your money to charity and fight for nothing, but I ain't no clown, if I'm fighting, I'm getting paid'
to which Pacquiao can respond
"No problem let's do it. I'll fight for free"
and that, my friend, is complete and total checkmate.
gotta remember Pac's LONG, LONG game is becoming president of the Phillipines and giving his proceeds from the biggest fight ever to some charity out there would pretty much seal the deal there.
Exactly. It's a chess move. PAC is waiting for a reply. Then he will say that last statement he will still fight for charity. That's when it's a checkmate and Floyd cannot back down or forever be humiliated as.a duckaroo.
If you know pacman. PAC loves Boxing, basketball and you guessed it boys chess. Chess is his mental game when he has time to spare.
Manny should not have accepted that bogus offer. What huge star gets 0% of the PPV money? Come on....
Delahoya was the A side in that fight. Floyd was making chump change compared to Oscar before then. That fight launched Floyd into stardom PPV wise.
Maybe Floyd has a beef with Arum but he was willing to do the Pacquaio fight with him on 2 other occasions if his phone call is considered a legitimate offer. Now he won't do business with him, period, end of story...why the change??? All the other Obstacles seem to be non issues So now it's all Bob Arum....
what huge star gets $40 mil when they never made more than $28 mil with the bulk of ppv rvenue?
Manny fans cite Bob as the reason the fight isnt getting made. In 2010 we had only gone through a few months of BS. Its now 5 years. SO if Bob is the reason the fight isn't getting made, then it would make sense to eliminate him. Maybe thats why the change.
he said manny doesn't deserve the fight a few weeks ago, gave reasons why, and hasn't selected an opponent yet. DO I agree with those reasons, of course not.
He said he wouldn't leave TR and he din't want to fight floyd. His choice.
Well at least you agree that his reasoning is ridiculous. There's no other fight in boxing that people want to see more then this one even 4 years past it's perfect time.
I think Tim will leave after the next 2 fights unless he needs to re up to fight Manny. He's got lots of options over at GB..
Manny is never gonna leave TR..he seems like he's too loyal to them...may not be the right move but he shouldn't have to leave if he doesn't choose to.
Yes I did. I also said Manny could've and should've accepted it because his refusal of the previous offer is what got us to this point.
So you are applying something written in the settlement in 2013 to 2009? thats not valid.
I'm sure floyd, as has manny, lied before. Actions often speak louder than words.why you would believe this-two reasons:
1. every fighter from ODH on has made their biggest payday with floyd
2. floyd said the similar things about working with ARum regarding the cotto fight. Miguel left-he got thew floyd fight and made his biggest payday to date.
I didn't reference an amount. You asked a question and I answered it. Manny fighting for free wouldn't mean the IRS would not get reimbursed.
Look ironmt, you can't have it both ways. Ifyou want to blame floyd, cool. But that doesn't mean you can fit everything that happens into that narrative. when you try and do this you paint yourself in a corner.
Both floyd and manny have grandstanded about this fight getting made. Both fighters and their teams want to control negotiations. Because manny/bob can't so they grandstand like this and try to win the PR war. Floyd responds or initiates by clowning them amd trying to win with his core fanbase.

First off, I never said he fights guys he knows he can beat...I would hope he would think he can beat everyone regardless...he fought a washed up Oscar and Shane. Ortiz and Guerrero who are nobodies and now Khan who is a bum at this point..all the while saying Manny doesn't deserve the fight and on and on...what I'm saying is he just contradicts himself every time he opens his mouth and then chooses guys 2 levels below Manny.
Didn't see the quote from Tim saying he didn't want to fight Floyd...wondering the reasoning why he wouldn't want to though?

Why are you bringing deals between other fighters Into the discussion? Did you or did you not say that Mayweathers deal of 40 million was ridiculous?
The point of the quote Is to show that the blood test stipulation was Irrelevant to making the fight happen In the first place.
If the Mayweathers believed the statement that they made In regards to Pacquiao then why was the stipulation even put Into effect? Unless of course they didn't believe It, which would make the Mayweather's liars.
If the Mayweather's are liars then why should anyone believe that Floyd would make the fight a reality If Pacquiao were to leave Arum?
As far as the IRS, you do realize that Pacquiao will most likely not be on the hook for the reported 68 million owed In back taxes and will most likely pay a quarter of this. Time will tell.

still wont answer question. when floyd picked manny, was it because he could beat him? Y
did they announce the khan fight yet?
Tim has said he isn't fighting floyd. The thread is here on NSB. Thats floyd's fault too? wow.
why not now?

If someone's offer was 'Give your pay cheque to charity', I too would be silent. What do you say to something so stupid?
:lol1: 'OK umm lets fight for free den?' Pacquiao sounds like a fucking child saying that shit.
Why do you continue to bring up negotiations from five years ago? Why Is this fight not happening today? If Floyd truly wants to fight Pacquiao and feels the need to use Arum for the fight not happening wouldn't the appropriate thing to do would be for Floyd to have a contract In place stating that he will fight Pacquiao under the condition that Pacquiao seperate from Arum. At that point If Pacquiao chooses Arum over Floyd, there would be no doubt to whom Is at fault.
Doesn't it make sense that the past determined the present situation? If Pacquiao thought random testing was good for boxing four years ago, we'd be discussing the fight. If Roach thought boxing needed random testing four years ago, we'd be discussing the fight. If Pacquiao thought 40 million dollars was a nice donation to a charity, we'd be discussing the fight. No?
Ok so he made him a ridiculous offer...what's your point? Clearly they were in negotiation to fight in 2010... Doesn't take away the fact that Floyd fought Ortiz,Guerrero and now Khan when Bradley and Manny are clearly the other best guys at welterweight. If he would deal with Arum then, why not now?? I just don't get it...

No, he didn't. He tried to negotiate a cutoff and didn't accept floyd's compromise offer until floyd took it off the table out of frustration after the Mosley fight. You would never accept this if any other fightr did this.
The offer being fair or not has nothing to do with whether he takes it. Was ODH's offer to floyd "fair"? was Cleverley's to Kovavlev? was Manny/bob asking jmm/tim to join TR fair? offering someone $40 mil aint all that bad.
what does the quote following the lawsuit have to do with this discussion?
Yes, he said he would and he aid he would donate proceeds to charity. If this is true, then why not agree to either deal made and the simply donate the money to charity.
As you are aware, the IRS would take their money up front before the remaining proceeds would be donated.

still avoiding the question. unbelievable.
Manny agreed to all floyds demands and floyd offered him $40 mil, no ppv. we know what happened.
I'm still wondering if picking manny in 09 was picking an opponent he could beat?
Ok so he made him a ridiculous offer...what's your point? Clearly they were in negotiation to fight in 2010... What the hell are you guys grumbling about?? It's very simple! At this point of time in both of their careers . Pacq is saying he's willing to do whatever it takes just to get Mayweather in the ring. At the same time it appears that Mayweather is willing to do whatever it takes to keep the fight from happening. We're not talking about what happen years ago. None of that really matters now. Because here and now is where we're at! All the failed attempts in the past can be blamed on both sides bs. Here and now is what matters. Regardless if pacq is legit w the fight for free give all proceeds to charity or not. Or it's just a to prove a point reaction. In essence he appears to be the one saying Just Fight Me Floyd. Not just for money but for the sake of boxing, and our fans. Win lose or draw!
5 years ago Floyd wasn't chirping about Manny only wanting the fight because he was in financial trouble so obviously he wouldn't need to make the point that he'll fight for free if it means Floyd getting in the ring with him.
Manny has agreed to all his demands at this point so the only thing holding up this fight is Floyd wanting it or not.

you stil, are avoiding the question. you posted floyd only picks opponents he can beat. you acknowledge floyd tried to make a fight with manny in 09. yet you wont answer whether floyd picked him only because he fit the category as you psoted. just answer this.
As for manny's offer- I asked was it fake because he didn't come up with it 5 years ago-which was a point you made about floyd saying he wouldn't work with arum. you wont answer that either.
How come you don't apply the same logic to both guys?

You know as well as everyone else here that Pacquiao agreed to blood tests with a 14 day cutoff and was willing to be tested Immediatley following the fight
You are also aware of the fact that a 40 million dollar flat fee with no PPV revenue was an unfair offer as you stated In previous posts.
You are also aware of this fact
Mayweather Jr., his father and uncle/trainer Roger Mayweather, said the men “wish to make it clear that they never intended to claim that Manny Pacquiao has used or is using any performance-enhancing drugs.
“Nor are they aware of any evidence Manny Pacquiao has used performance-enhancing drugs. Manny Pacquiao is a great champion and no one should construe any of our prior remarks as claiming that Manny Pacquiao has used performance-enhancing drugs.”
Didn't Pacquiao recently state that he would be willing to fight Floyd for absolutley nothing? How exactly does that help his financial missteps?
No, he didn't. He tried to negotiate a cutoff and didn't accept floyd's compromise offer until floyd took it off the table out of frustration after the Mosley fight. You would never accept this if any other fightr did this.

I'm not skewing anything here partner...the first round went to mediation...couldn't get done...neither side would budge on their demands so you can't blame either side for wanting what they wanted at that time... Second one was a phone call for Christ sake...business doesn't get done by 2 guys on the phone when they have promoters and managers that handle the business end of things. Didn't Manny tell him to call his people and Floyd didn't?
Mannys offer is fake unless Floyd agrees to it obviously, then he has no choice..his response was to Floyd saying he only wants the fight for the money...Manny basically said F.U. And said he just wants the fight for his fans and was "willing" to donate if Floyd would. Basically just calling Floyd on his non stop talk since Christmas about Manny.
you stil, are avoiding the question. you posted floyd only picks opponents he can beat. you acknowledge floyd tried to make a fight with manny in 09. yet you wont answer whether floyd picked him only because he fit the category as you psoted. just answer this.
