Richard Schaeffer, Amir Khan, and British Fans have one thing in common. They are all completely full of sh*t and believe their own delusions.
I'm tired of people rating Khan's chances because of his "speed" and then being completely unable to explain what they mean by "speed" and how in God's name it will be applied to get the desired result.
Let's look at the facts:
Khan's Speed: What speed? Really? Name one practical application of his speed that helps him win a fight. Oh wait... you can't? I'm not surprised at all.
Khan's speed manifests itself in one way - it helps him literally run away from his opponent like the guy has AIDS on his gloves.
He has no ability whatsoever to use his footwork to go from offense to defense. He is either punching - or getting punched. All the handspeed he has and he can't land a counter punch to save his life.
All his running around like a jackass means he hasn't set his feet and thrown a hard punch in 6 years. So how much practical speed do you actually have if you can't even counterpunch your slower opponent?
Is Lamont Peterson faster than Khan? Nope. Not even close. Yet he had no trouble finding Khan and beating his ass down. What did speed do for Khan in that fight? Nothing.
What did speed do for Khan against Garcia? Nothing. Julio Diaz? Nothing
Khan has one style of fighting..... run around like a jackass.. jump in like a jackass... throw a flurry of sloppy and inaccurate punches..... jump out and take off running.
Nobody can beat Floyd Mayweather only being capable of fighting one way and that is exactly what Khan is. A one-trick pony whose one trick is really a joke more than a skill.
He's the Pakistani Paula Radcliffe in the boxing ring - determined to get his 26.2 mile marathon squeezed into 12 rounds.
At least guys like Maidana have a 1% chance of beating Floyd because they could get lucky and land a hard shot that hurts him.
Khan's punches are like a kiss from your mother. Floyd could take about 200 of Khan's slaps without even blinking. Maybe if Khan puts some curry dust on his gloves he will have a chance of blinding Mayweather - but that's about the only chance he has.
Not to mention the fact that Floyd would have to fight a guy who was 122 lbs to find someone he can knock out as easily as this glass chinned fraud.
Mayweather KO2 Khan. Hurts him with the first counter punch he throws and takes him out within 30 seconds of landing it.

This bloke still mad he lost money after monster puncher Maidana failed to knock Khan out.. :bottle:
Everything I said in the original post is true.
No it isn't. Take this for example:
All his running around like a jackass means he hasn't set his feet and thrown a hard punch in 6 years.
If he hasn't thrown a hard punch in 6 years then...

It's pretty amusing how every single time I say something about Khan you get The Weebler and Dirk and all the British homers coming out of the woodwork with the ol "Hitman said Malignaggi would beat him!" party line.
Nevermind that I also predicted Garcia, Peterson and Prescott would beat him - and that Khan would beat Judah, which means if anything I've been right way more often than I've been wrong about Khan.
If you keep backing against him of course you're going to get one or two right because game boxers lose fights, just like teams lose matches.
Out of interest, which opponent's style do you feel is most similar to Mayweather........PEDerson, Garcia, Prescott or Malignaggi?
TS is the man. At least he stood up for what he believes in and let it be known. Unlike some guys around here, who just go along with the popular opinion.
And as a Khan fan I have no issue with what he said. I agree with a lot of what he said too. I still love watching Khan fight tho. Cause if he's not getting knocked around senseless he's fighting a good fight.

Thank you for being the one reasonable and realistic Khan fan.
I don't have any problem with someone being a fan of his, I have a problem with Khan and the fans who believe he actually deserves a Mayweather fight and then genuinely believe that he also has the best chance of beating Floyd.
Everything I said in the original post is true. I don't hate him for the sake of hating him. My analysis of his skills (or lack thereof) is right there on film for anyone who actually wants to look close enough. His speed is useful only for survival, he cannot/does not use his handspeed to effectively counterpunch and his footwork/balance absolutely sucks by world class standards. He's a great athlete who never polished his skills because he could get by on sheer athleticism.

Yes - I did get a fight prediction wrong once - many years ago.
You sure got me there fellas!
The TS is a retard, or drunk as he states it.
Fine, Khan can't beat Floyd we all know that but to say "Less chance than any other potential opponent" LOL is this kid even serious, man *****s be trippin up on Brits gettin the big bucks, go back to the lil ghetto hole you crawled outta boy
How fitting would it be for Khan to get out to a quick start, and actually be beating Floyd to the punch en route to a sizable lead on the cards going into the 12th....and everybody is going crazy thinking they're about to see one of the bigger upsets in boxing history -- and then Khan gets brutally KTFO in the 12th.
I disagreed with one of the TS's points, Amir Khan actually has some pop behind some of his shots, probably because a lot of the shots are coming so fast and in combinations.
Other than that I'm in total agreement. Maybe not 0% but if you had to round to an integer, then yeah it'd be zero. Closer to 0% than 1%, maybe like .0000000001% like if Floyd dislocates his shoulder, or if Khan brings back Alex Ariza for "strength and conditioning"

in case others around here don't know, you should really make clear up front that you get almost all of your fight predictions wrong. it's relevant for when you say you get tired of other people rating a fighter's chances.
It's a weird fight, this one. It's one where I could see Khan winning more rounds than either of Guerrero or Canelo -- yet overall I feel like he has less of a chance than either of those two (going into the fight). Obviously Canelo was never going to outbox Floyd. He had to hurt him. And he had the power to do so, but Floyd made sure that he never caught up to him.
Amir I think can almost certainly win some rounds, but winning the war -- seems impossible. I hate to give a fighter a 0% chance of winning any fight because this is boxing and you have to expect the unexpected some times, but this one does have a 0% chance feel to it.
Canelo caught Floyd flush a few times and little Floyd didn't even blink.

Yes I did.
Sounds like you didn't watch the Peterson fight yourself or you wouldn't have brought it up.
As for Pauli and Zab - name one world class fighter either man has ever beaten at 147.
Hah Peterson was on roids unless you validate steroid use you cant really call that a loss it should be a NC. Also dont forget Reffing and Judging.
Ive said it before hating on khan is like the cool or funny thing to do, a trend let say. I mean there are jokers who never fite a live soul untill their 40th fight and never get questioned yet you hate on a guy who takes risks gets Koed and comes back.
As for who did zab and paulie beat, so you wanna do triangle theories lets do one:
Khan beat Barrera beat Morales beat Pacquiao
Khan is an ATG hahaha jk
I bet there is a quote somewhere where you said that Ricky Hatton would beat Senchenko or David Price would beat Tony Thompson.
Typical British idiot poster with nothing to say and no points to make.
Xenophobic crap, typical rebuttal of an idiot
Isn't there a quote in someone's sig from the OP how Malignaggi was going to dominate Khan in MSG? would maybe do well not to make the same mistake twice.
lmaoo....
all his credibility gone with this post here
Boxing isn't just entertainment to me.
It's a metaphor for life, because life is a fight. Everytime i've been knocked down or the pressure is on, I look back to my heroes, who proved their greatness with blood, and I try to fight back as hard as they did.
I could write a better post on what boxing means to me but i'm pretty hungover right now so I'll just do it another time lol
Dafuq is dis shyt
Schaefer has no boxing knowledge. He is a banker. I promise he never had a pair of gloves on in his life. Khan has no chance at all. Schaefer is just trying to sell this mismatch.
