how old are you?

46. From Albuquerque NM. Watched Boxing with my Dad since I can remember, so I naturally started boxing at a young age. My first trainer was an old man at PAL boxing club named Charlie I don't remember his last name, but his assistant was Danny Romero Sr. I then joined Henrys Boxing club, and trained with Henry Anaya Jr, Johnny Tapia, Danny Almanzar, Tommy Cordova, and Many other great Albuquerque Amateur fighters of the day. That was a great time for NM boxing, and Boxing in general. Boxing is in my blood, and I still enjoy it immensely.

I'm 25 years old.Started watching boxing around 04. It's my favorite sport to watch next to mma. I currently train in BJJ , Muay Thai , mma and im working towards my first fight(amateur) this year hopefully. I would like to box more to get my hands better but don't really have any free time left.

I'am 35 years old started watching boxing in the early 90's. Family and friends tell me I look 25 so it's all good.

I am 20 years old. I've been following the sport since I was 6.

87 damn I'm old !! LOL @Bojangles1987 Some older posters insulted the younger posters because they just wants to intimidate and bully them. They have been following boxing for almost 25 plus years compare to these younger posters. I respect some of these knowledgeable older posters. I love reading some of their posts because they watched the fight when it happened.

thats exactly what i meant when i said getting into it with other fans on here over nonsense because u feel ur favorite fighter is better, etc. i just think if ur 36+ u should be over that already about whos fighter is better. If that's what you meant, you're right. It's cool to discuss, debate, even argue about the sport and its athletes. But being a fanboy is something else. As for simply being active on this or any other internet site, I don't see anything wrong with it -- as long as important aspects of your life don't suffer. It's a pastime, like any other. People waste away time doing all kinds of other things. This place is basically a social club. You walk in, talk about whatever you fancy and enjoy yourself interacting with people of similar interests. Few people are out actually out trying to fix the world.

Funny you should ask...........33 today son........no kidding. Been watching boxing since I was young....big Tyson fan since I was in elementary school. My last name is actually pronounced "Tyson" but spelled a little differently..........and I'll let you figure out what my first name is. I'm not kidding about that either...not one bit. It's a forum for debate. Sometimes it's going to get heated. 90 year old people will get into it with each other if they argue long enough. Has nothing to do with age. 26. Turning 27 this year. Been watching boxing since I was 8 or 9, thanks to Roy Jones.

It happens that many of the most of the respected and knowledgeable posters on this site are above the age of 36 - The quality of this site would severely diminish without them. So I can't say I agree at all.

I am 42. Canadian. 1st fight was "Ali vs Spinks I" when I was age 6. Even then I somehow knew both Ali and this amazing sport were going to be with me for life. Thanks Dad!
