That's just more power to GBP and Showtime.
TR loses it's best PPV star as well as HBO to their rivals.
Pac might sit down and talk with Mayweather....but no way HBO or TR let Pac just walk away. They will do everything in their power to keep him with them.
Top Rank has a decent young crop... but they're being built up right now.
HBO doesn't have a fighter that could put up huge numbers unless it's very good matchmaking.
Honestly... I see HBO offering Pac a lesser, but lucrative HBO deal like Showtime did with Floyd.
Showtime still behind, but they're catching up to HBO. Canelo being moved up to the PPV stage, early or not, and Floyd has a contract with HBO.
I've been seeing that about the Venetian everywhere....where'd you guys see it?
Arum was also interviewed about it.
I guess there are two possible scenarios that's happening right now:
1.) Either Pac's team is waiting for floyds team to announce his opponent
2.) Arum is getting greedy again offering his contract extensions for Pac that I assume pac is refusing currently.
Of course they will keep him
Pacs tax bill is also overrated
The 50m Philippine debt will be cleared soon as soon as he proves he had paid his US taxes, it happened before and got cleared
Yes the US issue will mean Pac will owe something but we do not know yet
If Pac is smart, he will indeed leave tr as gb have more guys
If tr and hbo are smart, they will entice Pac to stay with big bucks
Pacquiao fired VisionQwest after they revealed to Pacquiao that he was getting short changed at the request of the same guy that was robbing him. He's not going anywhere and fight will never happen. Just deal with it
Did HBO take a loss on the Pacquiao Rios fight?
I would imagine. You go from 800,000 - 900,000 PPVs to less than 475,000 and don't think someone in a pressed suit isn't happy.
HBO did not loss. The fight was already been paid in full by the venetian macau
I've read a report that the Pac fight was requested by the venetian macau owner to bring in High Rollers to Macau and also introduce big time boxing to china.
HBO was into a win-win situation in the last Pac Fight.:boxing:
Also, Garcia will be destroyed by Pac if they force the fight. It will ruin his career, I dunno why people give a slight ****ing chance to mickey winning it. There is only one JMM who took 3 fights to figure out Pac.

Pacman's new nickname should be "YES MASTER"
He is basically an obedient slave. That's a nice picture you have of Pacquiao smashing Rios' face in with a jab. What happened to your prediction that Rios would knock out Pacquiao with a left jab and you are never wrong about things like this? "Yes Master", obedient slave. That's a little harsh.
As per his lawyer/advisor; Manny should become a freelance fighter. However, GoldenBoy will be there with a fat cheque in order to entice Manny. As will his current slave driver.
Pacquiao should have about 10 lawyers present before signing a new contract.

They can't afford to, damaged goods or not. So if Pac can manage to stay upright for his next several fights he might be able to negotiate for a little bit better money, but if his PPVs continue to do low numbers he might have a problem. What does HBO want with a fading attraction?
as far as pac leaving, i dunno how it will work. arum might be able to talk the panties off pac again. it might all depend on pacs resolve and how much he trusts the snakes around him. i frankly have no faith in pac striking it out on his own without top rank.
wtf? it takes brains to let a contract expire? do you even read the schit you write?

Yes it does. Extensions in there, past owed fights, appearances, you know contract language that can cause a headache if not read properly but i dont expect you to understand that.
World needs ditch diggers too

it takes brains to leave a bad contract on the table and so far, thats not something pac has been able to do.
Oh no they wont. I honestly doubt Pac is smart enough to be able to get out of contract. Seems naive and easily tricked but maybe this 68 mil bill is an eye opener. Time will tell

if pac is a smart guy, hed make himself a free agent, place himself on a bidding war between the two teams, highest offer takes him.
thats what cotto does. i hope pac doesnt make himself a puppet anymore.
I wouldnt doubt if the reason he hasnt announced his fight is because Arum tried to squeeze an extension in there.
Probably right, there has to be some reason for the delay and the strain that team Pac seems to be going through
They want him to pass the torch before he goes. According to Fat Dan, they are pushing Mikey Garcia hard for 2015 at WW. After Burgos, he's moving up to LW or JWW. Then WW in 2015 for Pacquiao.
I wouldnt doubt if the reason he hasnt announced his fight is because Arum tried to squeeze an extension in there.
And that's probably why his lawyer told him to leave.
