Who do you think wins in this war?? I actually pick the Hand of stones via brutal KO in the 8th round.

At 147, Duran beat quite possibly the greatest welterweight of all time. It was a hell of a war though.
Pac is great at 147 but is he greater? I'm not so sure, I think Duran takes it, by a razor thin SD. But who cares who win or loses, this would just be an epic fight.
Oh well I was looking at the fight from a physical prime situation.
If you want to look at it from a technical standpoint, then don't forget to take into account' Pacquiao's boxing ability.
Although I agree I don't know what Pac would do when duran forced the fight on the inside. I didn't say Duran wouldn't win i'm just saying it would have been a good fight.
There is no debate that Duran's ability is better than Pac's. Absolutely none. Again this doesnt mean Pac is awful or anything, it just is what it is.
Do you even know how fighting works?
Every time you get in the ring, it's a 50/50 fight. It's fighting. It's not a computer algorithm.
Duran can get caught staring, get clipped with a laser left hand, and it's Manny's fight from there. Duran could catch Manny on the ropes, catch him with a devastating uppercut, and it's all Duran from there.
So many variables when we're talking about these 2 specific fighters.
LOL Gotta love Manny fanatics.
Who says you can't fight with both?(Mind/heart) Duran was from your generation and Pacquiao is from mine. That's my assessment pf Duran from what I've seen, which isn't as much as the people from your generation have.
Pacquiao is very much of my generation; I wasn't even born when Duran beat Barkley. I've simply seen enough of Duran to know he's a vastly superior technician to Pacquiao. Manny is incredibly limited and ordinary in comparison from a technical point of view.
There is less than 1% chance Duran would lose if they are both at their best. Pac's a great, great fighter but Duran's best is at the highest level of a fighter you can be. He's great among all time greats.

It might be better than Gatti VS Ward and Castillo vs Corrales.
In this fight, you have two guys that know how to put the hurt and both of them do not quit and only respond by fighting harder. They fight with their hearts first and their minds second and their hearts will both be tested.
This is the type of fight that history remembers.
What? :lol1:
Anyway, I don't think you've seen much of Duran, because he definitely wasn't someone who fought with his mind "second." He'd morphed into a complete boxer-puncher by the mid 70's, and that's generally how he fought from that point on.
Pac could ko Duran but more likely points win for Pac.
You only survive against Pac if you defend yourself turtle styly like Clottey or run like Bradley and JMM.
Pac is all wrong for Duran.
I get a good chuckle every time i read your posts
Depends which Pac shows up. If the pac that showed up against Hatton/Cotto, it'll be a very close and competitive fight that pacquiao wins by decision. Anything less, Duran frustrates him, and maybe a late TKO
Duran would kill juicemanGirl, you are a one-trick pony. All you ever do is comment in Pac and Mayweather threads but that is obvious to anyone because your username is a one-trick pony showing why you don't post in other threads about other fighters and have zero rep as the result.
A young Duran at 147 the same guy who fought Leonard the first time beats Manny! He punches harder than Manny but Manny being a southpaw will make things difficult! It would be a very good fight because Manny can box when he needs to and against Duran he would need to. Ray

Duran KO2
If you thought what JMM did to him was frightful...
Both with blood, heart and guts of a warrior.
I dunno, but I'm picking pac in 12 round barn burner.
Another No Mas might be pulled out by duran.
The fantasy fight that's worth to watch for if these happens!:boxing:
