Floyd Mayweather needs to stop ducking Erislandy Lara at 154 ( No catchweight BS)

Why did Floyd duck his WBA mandatory at 154 (Erislandy Lara) yet the anti-GGG brigade likes to say that GGG is ducking Lara, lol. Lara's promoter when asked about GGG -> "Tv problems".

Lara deserves a huge pay day against Mayweather. He just beat trout more convincingly than Canelo. He also got a gift draw vs molina when molina schooled him at his own game,, How the hell if floyd ducking lara,, Everyone with any brain realizes floyd only goes up to 154 for huge money vs other ppv draws,,, Lara brings no money, and isnt a ppv draw like oscar, cotto, canelo... Now if lara clears out 154, then the demand would be there, but until then, everyone needs to shut up about lara-floyd

Lara isnt what you guys think he is. Dude is very average. His boxing skills is very overrated... Its ike people didnt see the Vanes or Molina fight... Which he both won on my scorecards. And people also saw the Williams and Trout whooping. Molina Williams Martirosyan Angulo Trout Not one of those fights he actually "lost". He doesn't even have 20 wins yet, that is a variable no matter how much amt experience you have. You need pro experience and Lara's pro resume is stacking up quick and IMO he's getting better. People bring up the Molina fight like if Molina knocked him out in the first round "OMG did you see what Molina did to him? Did you see the fight." Yeah did you see the fight? Molina just hugged all night while Lara landed the clean punches.

Meanwhile Floyd fights who?? Meanwhile he has wins over the 154 champion and the former #1 ranked at 154 in a span of 1 year and a half, with a win over #3 WW in between. If Lara can get a win over Canelo, he'd get all the exposure he needs for Floyd to consider him in the sweepstakes.

He's been paying his dues for 17 years, he earned the right...he is the cash cow of boxing, who are we to dictate who he should make rich. If you don't like his pick, don't watch the fight....problem solved. Gladly, I will get the entire card the next morning and it will work out great. All great movements start with the voice of the people, so if you guys like paying $70.00 (this year, maybe $75 or $80 next year) for mediocre PPV events, then go ahead and toss your cash away.

I like Lara, but this guy is unknown The only way Lara is going to get his name out there is to fight Canelo, sadly Canelo doesnt want to fight him

Are you looking forward to Floyd v Khan? Absolutely not. Boxing is a business and this is what King has over El Oro de Guantanamo. King brings the UK fans, Can El Oro de Guantanamo guarantee the Cuban fans will follow him. Maybe if the fight was in Florida..maybe. King has a more fan-friendly style, you are asking people to spend $70...El Oro de Guantanamo style will not be appreciated. You must remember when fights, he will bring the hardcore fans but when you fight Money, he will also have the hardcore/casual fans watching him as well. If he fights on regular cable TV...yes (although Money has a lot more clot than most active fighters) but all of his fights are on PPV meaning the risk is distributed between the cable outlet, the promoter, etc (mostly the promoters. This is why you usually see crappy undercard on PPV because the promoters are taking on most of the risk and therefore have more say. Honestly Floyd is done fighting at 154. The only time he has come up is to fight the big names like Oscar, Cotto, and Canelo. Lara is not a big name even in boxing circles so there is no incentive to fight him for Floyd. There is enough comp at 147 and guys that can come up to that weight to last Floyd until he retires.
